Unconverted Pets

So I left Neopets for a while and then rejoined to find that everything had changed.

 

So I was wondering, how would you convert unconverted pets? And would trading them convert them? And would they still get you an avatar (such as the Grey Wocky - *sigh* avatar)?

I'd not convert my pets... they are rare...

 

Yes they still award avatars.

No they won't be automatically converted if you trade or pound them.
