Forums Theme

I remembered last year around Christmas, there was a really cool Christmas theme/skin for the forums. Is there any way we could bring that back this year? (And perhaps have it as an option year round?)

I second this. The site just wouldn't be complete without it. I don't know if this version of IPB supports it, but I should think so.

I would like to know if we could get one that would make everything darker (text brighter if need be) so people (like me) who prefer not to have a bright screen being burned into their eyes when online here. Please?

Rosy, there's the TDN Forums Pro one that's dark. I think any darker than that would just be too hard on most people's eyes.

Sir Ian is currently verrry busy studying for his ACT test that he will be taking on Saturday. I can't promise you anything at all, and I definitely can't promise you anything until this weekend at the earliest. I will see what Ian can do, or if we can find any themes that are supported by our IPB version.

Yea, the theme we used last year is still compatible with this current forum version, so things are looking good!

Man I didn't even know there were themes?! Until just now when, in

a desperate effort to figure out what was going on, I finally noticed the bar at

the bottom of the screen. A Christmas theme would be neat, especially

if it didn't put anybody out with the amount of work it required.

They are usually simple if you know where all the files are, some that are overly done with a lot of detail can get time consuming but I've never spent more then a day on one unless there was something I really didn't know how to change.

Last year theme was just a header. I sent the PSD to Ian today. I dislike it myself... bad blend. (And that's the artist speaking)

I'm afraid that we won't be able to put up a Christmas theme this year. :( I believe the Christmas template was for an older version of our forum software.

That's actually what I use.

And I got a pic of a a different forum with a darker theme, so you get what I mean from my previous post.

Well, at least TDN's main page has a festive theme don't you guys think?!

I'm sure we'll be happy enough with that around!

You can change the forum theme using the drop down box at the bottom left of the page. :)
