Dropping NP Ratios

So many NP ratios have dropped. I saw at least six drop today, all of which used to grant easy 1000 NPs (Dubloon Disaster II, Magma Blaster, Chia Bomber, Shenkuu Warrior, Petpet Park Facts and Neverending Boss Battle) :grrr: . Is this going to be temporary due to the GMC or is it going to be permanent? This is rather unfair..:( Any views? Meepits maybe? :crying:

The game ratio for all game change every month. Some game are stable and don't change at all or not much. Some games are up a month and down the second one... it's been like that for over a year.

 

I don't think it's a bad thing, except it gives me work :)

Well, that's good :) I really hope those 1000 NP games go back to giving 1000NPs!

I got a little upset last month when some of the easy sponsor games that gives an easy 1,000 NP get their NP Ratio halved (now I get a max of 500-600 NP per play). I really do hope the NP Ratio increases. I really think GMC is the cause seeing how the Keys from KQ were all giving one prize less during the Halloween promotion and returned to normal afterwards.

Game ratio change on the 25th/26th of every month since July 2007.

It's an automated system that adjusts the ratio to help balance out the flow of Neopoints into Neopia. We assure you there is no mad scientist cackling evilly whilst lowering and raising the NP output of Kass Basher. ;)

 

 

So the change has absolutely nothing to do with Games Master Challenge. I've been updating our dailies page with ratio changes since August 2007, so I know what I'm talking about. It keeps Neopets balanced and your favorite game will be back at respectful ratio next month, or the one after. Then it will go down again... that's how it works.

Last month ALL the games I played that made 1000 went down like crazy, so all month i made only enough to buy stocks and play edna quest. hardly made a dent in my goal (to achieve the adam avvie). I hope the ratios are better this month... I actually like the fluctuation, because some of us are good at some kinds of games, and others and different games, and it gives us all a chance.

bah! well i mostly play keyquest anyway, and since there's no ratios there, it's all fine. keyquest is the most profitable anyway--you can get NP in game AND you can sell everything you win.
