Question regarding the BC

As it is my first time, i realise i am having a lot pf problems trying to fit into the 25kb file limit. I keep shrinking my picture, and the more i do it, the worse the quality keeps getting. I have no idea what to do. How then do the contestants manage to send a high quality picture? Im really at my wits end, any help is appreciated.

have you tried saving it a different file format? (ie, .jpg, etc)

I use Photoshop's "Save for Web" to optimize my pictures in JPG format - and there is still always some loss to size and quality. Usually, you have the full size/quality version on your pet's petpage so people can see it there if they want to.

That is the same for me, I have only gotten two entries in!
