For more insight on this matter, let's see what BlackJaguar has to say in today's daily report: "The Krawk Pirates manage to hold off the Meridell Army during yesterdays game. They manage to sweep the knights off their feet and continue to establish their dominance in this year's Cup. In other news, another team is making a silent approach to the top. Kreludor manage to win 2 out of 3 games in yesterday. It seems that they want to show that they are still fit to play despite not being able to participate last year because of gravity problems. Both Meridell and Kreludor's supporters are not common in the NeoBoards, making them hard to predict. Will this two Silent Assassins manage to snatch the victory from the paws of the powerhouses like Krawk and Roo? Watch out for more news in just a few days. Well, this is certainly good news for the pirates, who manage to sweep Meridell after the knights won against Roo. Haunted Woods regained the 4th position, while Kreludor steps up to 5th, and Meridell has a drastic drop back to 7th. Is this molding into their likely position for this year, or will they be able to rise again? Didn't you see the TOP GOALS SCORERS? It says ZO JUNIOR is the winner, and it sounds like DC's Layton Vickles rank....7th!
Sam of DC Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 That doesn't mean anything. We could beat even KI if they let their guard down like supposedly LD did. Though congrats LD, you beat us fairly. For example, Kreludor's about 6th. Where is it on the Top Goal Scorers? Even 10th place is the (no offense) losing Terror Mountain captain, Prytariel. Shenkuu's Mirsha Grelinek is 4th, while its actual position is a lot lower. And how Is Haunted Woods in the top? It's coming 5th about, but the top 4 are all below it.

This is a rally call... Lets go Team LD and get those wins...we are 5 games back and have allot of ground to make up, but we can do it.

Jon Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Go Kreludor! TDN FINALLY included them positively in the news after overlooking their silent rise from the beginning. They've been steadily climbing since about the fourth day of the tournament from 11th place or so, and now they're just about the top 4! But none of their victories, despite exceeding predictions even versus strong teams like Darigan and Lost Desert, ever made it to the news or the daily predictions comments. It's just nice to see a little recognition. Kreludor for the Cup! :D

I'd consider a win in YYB already a win for RI... even if it was a win/loss/loss, they still would have gotten the bulk of the points. You can't consider a win in YYB to be equal to a win in SS.

They are making a small comeback after losing mostly to Kreludor, but will it be fast enough to rally against Virtupets. LD Slushie Slingers are pleased. Darigan Citadel smashed Haunted Woods, it matters on the actual other team players, and the human players within Haunted Woods.
