According to our Altador Cup Standings page, with Lost Desert sweeping Roo Island in all 3 games, they now have a hold on 2nd place, jumping from 4th! Krawk Island had established their dominance by sweeping Darigan Citadel off their feet and giving them a 1.25 point lead. But the greatest surprise happened when Roo Island, one of the great contenders for the Cup, lost all three games to the Mummies. As their first major loss, the ROOS are still very optimistic and are going all out today against another good team, Haunted Woods. Lost Desert has now jumped from fourth to second in just one day. This news is still so shocking and very hard to believe. I knew that Lost Desert had a marathon going on, but was that really enough to beat the #2 team - and take their places in the rankings. Krawk Island look out because here comes Lost Desert! But unfortunately, the freeloaders pull it down to insignificancy. But The DC has a very good team spirit... and I really admire them for thier strong will. alas for freeloaders!!!!!!! :yes:

But then I just realized the opposite! We LD'ers have proven ourselves! We have to do that to Krawk Island as well! I can't help screaming out loud *scolded by mum*. :D

The only thing that bothers me now is the MASSIVE amounts of KI bashers going around and boasting about their lead. I really hope LD can take them when they go against each other.

Unfortunately, I think they're gonna beat us HW players today to make up for losing so badly yesterday. And freeloaders DO NOT influence standings! You CANNOT pull a teams points down, only make it go up by playing or contribute nothing by doing nothing. So quit blaiming your shortcomings on other people, Roo Island, and just play harder :P

Yes, in all three games. Lost Desert, I believe they played really hard and believed they could beat the Roos. The Rooligans though, "Oh, that's an easy opponent", and played less, so they now got swept. (Thanks all LD's for sweeping Roo, now we're clear at the top! ;)) Let's see what today's match against HW has to offer. I doubt RI is going to be so careless, but HW wants some wins.

I am really proud of LD!!!! I couldn't help but be surprised at the clean sweep though. However, we LDers, have to make sure that we don't let pride be our fall! Hopefully, we will keep on give our best, without being affected by the results. And, we have to show the world that it wasn't only a one time thing. Oh and to the Roos: Great game! But then again we have to meet up with DC and KI, which will ruin us, but there are always suprises. This is only round 1 in the round-robin play, so there is still more yet to come! (P.S- Just because we're in second place, doesnt mean we can slack off, ok LD team?) :laughingsmiley:
