  1. I love the whole fantasy type of series. With magic, dragons, fighting, all that sort of good stuff. I also love fantasy scfy, if that's the name for it. I have no clue. I've read the Percy Jackson series, and LOVED them. The last book was probably my favorite. I've seen the movie, but it sucked. I've also read the Harry Potter books, not all of them though, stopped halfway in the 5th book? Not sure why. Inkheart series are also very good! I spent hours reading them. XD The last series I read was George and the Overlander. I got to the last book, but for some reason, I stopped reading it.

  2. :laughingsmiley: I just read it. About Mes are always a head-ache.

But it hardly took me five minutes to write it. I wanted to write more, but that would totally bore you guys.

I love writing about mes! And reading other peoples. I don't know why, but everytime I see a really long about me, I take the time to read it. I'm going to go read yours after I'm finished with this post.

I didn't know AA had a sibling on the forums XD

Should I write a full length about me page? No matter what happens the pigeon is staying :P

I think you should! If you wrote alot, I would go and read it :D.

  3. This girl had a board open, and was lending people borrow her FQD, but the only thing they had to do was come in and chat. She then chose people, and would lend them it. I stayed in and chatted for a bit, thinking that I wasn't going to get it. But I was the last person she lent before closing her board for the day. I was very happy! She didn't even ask for coll or anything.

  4. Congrats! High school may not have been considered difficult for some people, but regardless, it is definitely an important milestone in anyone's life. It shows that you're dedicated to stick through something to the end!

Any ideas on where you plan to go from here? You don't have to answer that if you don't want, lol. Sorry if it's too much of a personal question, I'm just curious. I like to know about peoples' dreams and such 0:) I did a "victory lap" in high school (a 5th year, it's optional now, used to be mandatory) because I wasn't sure of what I wanted to do. I took a co-op course where I worked in a hospital for a few months, and I realized my original plan really wasn't what I wanted to do!

Anyways. This is about you, not me! ^_^ Sorry, lol.

I don't think it was really hard. I mean, half the time I was pulling all nighters, and going to school. Some people slept in every class, and then worried about it when it came to Senior year. I laughed at them.

Hm... I think I'm going to go to this EKU, which is a college around my area. I think? XD. I really would like to become a photographer, or writer. So I'm thinking about majoring in Creative Writing, Or English. Or maybe getting a minor in Creative writing? Nahh, it's fine. The questions arn't that personal, and it doesn't really bother me if you ask them. If you come up with questions, I'll answer them all XD. I like reading about peoples lives, so you can go ahead, and tell me your tale if you like :D. You can leave me a comment on my profile, or something and we can talk about all of this :D.

XD. Have you figured out what you wanted to do?

  5. I usually play neopets for some months before I end up taking a break. But most of the time, I usually come back. I quit back in Sept, or something around there. And I didn't play till 2 weeks ago. Now I'm hooked, and playing it daily. I'm usually trying to get avies, restocking, and getting new battledome items for my pets.

  6. I like the boards...well somewhat. But a couple of years ago, I think it was 4? Something around there. Well, my dog had died from Parvo, and I got on neopets and posted a board. I was hoping that someone would come in there, and talk to me about it or something. You know, to make me feel better. Instead of getting someone nice, and caring...I got these rude people who told me to go talk to my parents, and all this other crap. Which made it 20xs worse. They told me that they reported me, and that my account was going to get frozen, and all this other crap. I was just like Wth? Seriously. But now days, I just post in the boards when I get bored. Mostly Avies, or the shops when I advertise it. Even though that drives me insane because people post their shop ads, on my shop ads. Gahhh.

  7. I never quit. I never have seen the point in it, unless the other person was cheating, or something. I don't do something that I wouldn't want some else to do to me. There have been some people who have quit on me, while I was in the lead. It gets annoying because you spend 5-10+ minutes of your life, trying to win, and then someone quits, and ruins it all for you. TNT needs to do something about it.

  8. But.... you would have unlimited NPs o_O so why would you need to make more? Buying everything just to sell it at an inflated price just for no reason is kind of a mean thing to do.

Imagine that whenever you logged into Neopets, your bank account balance was like 999,999,999 NPs (or whatever the limit is, if there's a limit). That's a lot of money! More than one could probably ever spend. So making more is kinda pointless, no?

I know, but still. My shop would always be full, and then everyone would have to come buy stuff from me :D. Then people would know I was rich muaahah.

I don't really know tbh. Just a reason to spend it.

  9. To tell you the truth, the best way to become better at RSing is to just practice with it. The best way to learn shops is to spend enough time in each to know exactly which items are profitable or not. You would be surprised how much you remember after RSing for only a few months. Just be persistent and it helps if you have a good memory. It is hard to forget what is good in a shop once you have mastered it. Even though I left neopets about a year ago and am now starting fresh, I still remember everything that is profitable in pretty much all the shops (even battle and defence magic -- two of the hardest shops to learn because mistakes can cost a lot of NP there).

I started off in food shops exclusively, but you soon realize that magic + stamp is the most profitable combination when you are an experienced RSer. Once you get to that level 2 shops at a time should be your maximum if you actually want to get unbuyable items :P I have screenies of 67 of the UBs I have restocked (I screenie the most profitable ones) in the past. I have probably RSed close to 200+ UBs total back in the day. I also love plushie palace and usukiland but the items are harder to sell and sit on the trading post for much longer.

Here are a couple examples of my UB screenshots:

So sad to see that my pet was level 113 back then before I lost that account when everyone on the battledome chat was losing their accounts :( Such an unhappy time. Also my avatar on TDN is lupe chia bomb because this was the very first UB I ever restocked. I remember it happened on half price day in battle magic and I had no idea it was a UB and I only had a couple months of experience restocking at that point.

P.S. - the very best items restock on half price day because the traffic in shops is higher and slow shops like battle magic and defence magic will definitely restock a few r99s on HPD. I got my blue draik MP on a half price day also.

Most importantly this guide is by far the BEST guide out there for restocking:

The only thing I don't agree with is refreshing through a ton of shops nonstop. Limit the shop number to 2 or 3. No less than 2 unless you are content on one shop and don't get bored easily. No more than 3 because you will start to completely miss good items...2 shops is the best number in my opinion b/c you minimize chances of being banned yet still have a great chance at getting the best items. My rule is to wait 2 seconds per shop you have up. So, for example, wait 4 seconds before refreshing both shops if you are only in 2 shops.

Wow. Thank you for this helpful information! I'm going to check this site out right now. I think I do only 3, but with spooky foods, it's 4.

The best way I usually learn is I just buy, and guess. But I tend to lose neopoints this way, depending on which shop.

I'm going to take your advice, and just keep on trying. Hopefully I'll get used to the spooky foods, and learn what's good, and what's not good.

  10. TDN does allow pictures. As long as they're rated G for General Audiences (I sound like some dude from the MPAA).

Alright! I might add some pictures. I hope my friends don't really mind XD

Congrats! It is a great feeling, embarking on a new journey as an adult! I graduated six years ago, but I still remember the feeling. Good luck w/ life beyond high school!

Thank you! I'm excited. I'm wanting to visit this college, and see what it's like and all that good stuff.

  11. I know one reason why people use malls is because it is convenient. They don't have to go look for each book they need if they are in a mall that caters to books. It is pretty much someone who is lazy. That's the only explanation i can find.

As far as the original topic goes I know that the chocolate factory is also a good place to restock. People love the items there and they sell super fast.

That's one of the reasons I figured. I still think it's too much.

  12. I have so much to reply too, so I'm just going to do it in one post. I hope no one minds, I also hope I won't get in trouble :C.

I have no idea what goes on in the minds of people who buy things from malls. Maybe they just like spending nps.

Good luck with your restocking. I hear the Bakery is also a good place. You can try that if you don't really like Spooky Foods.

That's what I always thought. I don't see why people would spend so much neopoints there, when they could search it, and save it.

Because I have tons of items in my shop, cheaper than shop wiz, and no one buys from there.

I've also heard that the bakery is good if you know what to look for, same as Spooky Foods. The normal food shop is good as well.

I've always wondered about the malls too! Why do people ever buy stuff there? I know people do because they're profitable for the owners, but gosh, it seems like such a waste of NP.

I know alittle about Bakery, which is where I usually go. It's a great place. But Spooky foods, it goes by quickly, and I'm usually buying things from the other shops.

Yea. You need to know what to look for in all of those stores. A lot of people restock there, so you have to be fast.

I also hear late night/early morning NST is the best time to restock there. Not 100% sure if it's true, but it's worth a shot.

That's usually when I restock. But I also heard that when theres not alot of people in a shop, it doesn't restock as often.

    Not really sure about this.

Spooky foods is definitely the best food shop because low rarity items like elephante trunk soup and snorkle snout restock fairly often at prices of 99 K or more. I really like snow foods also because it also brings back higher profits than most food shops. Chocolate and bakery fetch less profit per item but do tend to restock more often. Spooky, snow, and faerie foods are more likely to stock UBs than the other food shops.

What's the best way to learn what's best at spooky foods, or Snow foods? Just buy and guess? I've tried this before but I waste too much neopoints.

I tried looking at some sites, but theres just too much.

There aren't as many people online late at night or early in the morning, so that makes it easier for restocking. I tried some last night, but got tired and went to sleep. :laughingsmiley: At eleven or so, there are about 15,000 people online as opposed to 30,000. That helps a lot with the auctions at least. I'm just getting into RSing.

It depends on where you live. When it's 11 pm here, theres around 26k people on. I'm going to try auctions, so hopefully that works out.
