^ yep, and right now it's only possible to get gift boxes from redeeming neocash cards, unfortunately. it kind of sucks because not many stores in my area carry them <_<

i think it's tempting to put on rose-colored glasses and be nostalgic for the old neo, but i actually prefer the current website. there are a lot more events, the artwork is cleaner, and there are a lot more things to do.
 
when i started playing in 2001 i could sign in, spend 20 minutes on the site, and literally be done for the entire day. sure there were less ads, but those don't really bother me since i just use an ad blocker, which works like a charm.
 
when i re-started neo 3 years ago, i was amazed at all the new stuff they had around. i deffo don't miss the old days of playing 20 games of pyramids a day to earn np, lol.
 
plus snarkie, viola, dragona, etc. all stayed around, so it's not like they replaced the whole team. C:
