TNT posted on their Official Message Board a few days ago about a Snot Splatter problem that many people have had :) :

We realise some of you Snot Splatter fans are experiencing a bug where you click on a bubble, it doesn't inflate as expected, and the game deducts points anyway. Definitely not fun! We've looked into this and it seems the issue is happening when you use Firefox 3.6 or higher in combination with Flash 9. To fix it, uninstall Flash 9, install Flash 10, and the game should work just fine. Here's a handy reference link to help with your update: http://www.neopets.com/help.phtml?questionID=1489.
