Ah yea I really like a challenge. However it just seems like "challenge impossible" at the moment! Anagrams are great too but when I look at it I think wow there are only 1,000,000,000,000,000 possiblities. Wow ill be at it for days. Maybe I am missing the hint when I read the puzzle. Hmmmm.....idk :S

 

I think that I am getting more confused when I hear the hints.

Take a break and come back to the one's that you don't get. There may be a chance that al the hints and stuff are getting into your brains!

Well I love tonus and cybunnies. Tonus are tough and cool and cybunnies are so adorable and cute! *wishes to have a cybunny* Just need to wait one more year before the release of the cybunnies, actually half a year. ^_^

I can't help but notice Black Jaguar that you have reached 200 posts. This calls for a celebration *200 post party* Anyway for number 4, anagrams are not my thing... especially when I have never done one before. I didn't even know what an anagram was before and how they worked!

Does the answer to the question in 4 have any letters that are not in the anagram for the question? If so how many? Also, how many letters does the answer have? I know, this must be a pretty big hint or something, but...

Answering this would really help me a lot.

Answering this could also help everyone else a lot so its safe to say this is a puzzle. I'm having trouble with question 2 and 4 but hopefully I'll get the answer in time...

Anyway I've just got the dung avatar and all the dung items brought are going straight to the SDB for the packrat avatar. Money well spent!

Maybe you could have a shot at the puzzle challenge. You never know you might discover a lot of knowledge that you never knew you had...

Its hopeless. I have tried and tried and I just dont see me answering the anagram. Its impossible there are just too many words that there could be. I really think that more information is needed in order to be able to answer it.

I guess there are a lot of people on the forums who are feeling the same way as you. If they did give out a hint it wouldn't be much of a challenge, would it if you think about it. Solving puzzles takes time and patience but in my opinion luck is the most important of all. If you don't have luck I don't think you would be able to solve any of the puzzles! But patience is a very important quality whether trying to solve a puzzle or waiting to go to the bathroom. So yeah...

I hope this can be asked, but does the pattern in Q5 in any way require... a calculator? Or is it really so simple that you can piece it together in your head just like that?

I guess its a number of tries with different algorithm patterns. At least that's how I did it. You dont' really need a calculator. Just to recall your attempts and fixing them.

Is this advice worth reporting? I don't know but I think it isn't.

I guess as I'm under 13 I've never had any luck on the Qasalan Expellibox. Only 150NP, some cheap desert food and... nothing.

Yeah... I guess so. I don't really know why I'm doing these puzzles. I don't really want the prizes and if that's not why I'm here then why am i here? I don't know. i guess I'm only here just for the puzzles which sounds ridiculous but maybe that is why I'm here. *sigh*

PS I don't like it when people rub it in and say ' oh i solved this in 1 minute' or 'i'm going to get that neocash card' because that's just off putting for everyone who is also in this puzzle challenge and I doubt it that they'll stay on the forums for long. But for everyone who is here to win it and stay on the forums, good luck!

So what exactly do you people mean by overthinking? Some people take it as thinking of complicated strategies. But personally i thing of it as the way you think. Even though you're good at maths doesn't mean you are good at problem solving which is what i hate even though i'm in a year 7 extension maths class. If you can't get the answer, for number 5 especially write down your answers and working so far. See what works and doesn't and go from there. That's how I solved number 5, and i guess number 1 too...

Yeah it 'sort of' helped with the collecting of the packrat avatar but not a big deal. Personally I thought that a month's hard work for my first AC was good, but for other players I think they should have been rewarded with more original and 'useful' prizes but instead we got how should i say, 'sport merchandise'. It would have been better if we were rewarded with a variety of books, plushies and everything else that neopians commonly collect but I guess that's how it is...
