  1. I have to interject... I don't believe the AI is getting better. I think that each team plays to their own specific pattern. I have done progressively better against ALL teams... except the Meridell Team. They seemed to play with a style that kept me scoring around 6-7 goals a match, when I can usually hit 10-11.

  2. Okay... so someone said you had to get "about" 250 point in Slushie Slinger for it to "count" toward your rank. Does anyone know for sure if 250 points will count toward your rank, or will you have to go higher?

The same question for Make Some Noise. I can regularly get 4000 points in Make Some Noise. Does anyone know if 4000 points is enough to qualify you for a win toward your rank?

If you don't know... do you know how to find out?

  3. I don't know if this has been posted anywhere, but I didn't see it. I was just wondering what the last day of the Altador Cup was? I'm trying to get 2000 points by that time, and am trying to figure out if I'm gaining points fast enough. Does anyone know?

Edit: I can see the match schedule ends on the 28th... but I assume there will be more matches after that? Or am I wrong?

  4. You can move your own players to each of the three sections of audience by clicking on it while none of your players are selected. If you hit space, which deselects all characters, and either click the middle, left, or right section of the audience, the nearest of your players will go there.

Interestingly enough, if you click the one area, and wait for him to finish moving, then click another area, a second player will move to the second area. You can actually move up to three of your players off the field. They can come back on, however, if you highlight them and try to move them again.

Apparently, when you have no player selected, and click, it will move the closest player to that location. The glitch plays on that targeting system.

  5. Just wondering, for all you Yooyuball Players out there... what's your favorite Yooyuball to get? Personally, I hate the Snow Yooyu... I'd even rather have the Mutant, because at least then I'd have a chance of not getting slowed down. I really prefer the fire Yooyu over the other, for obvious reasons, if you know the game. What do you think?

  6. This here is just a little poll I came up with to forecast the short-term activity of the TDN message boards due to the Altador Cup. Myself, you may have noticed, hasn't been here as often. You can attribute that to my wanting to support my team.

I only have one request for posts here. Please don't mention what team you're supporting on this thread. The only reason I ask that, is that I'm sure there are other posts for it, and I don't want this to turn into a post about what team is the best, or which is going to win.

  7. It's not a big deal. I was only playing to get the avatar, but I wasn't able to achieve Rank One until I got 47/0/15/31 (wins/draws/slush/noise). The calculator said I should have gotten Rank One at 42/0/15/31. There is some variable not accounted for that made win 5 more games than it told me I would have to.

  8. I wouldn't worry too much about which school you get into. For the most part, future employers don't really look at the school name (unless it's universal, like Princeton, Yale or Harvard). That was the advice I got from my Education Teacher when she was talking about transferring to a 4-year college.

  9. Well if you get a mental block of any sort (I suppose writing is an art, so writer's block can be applied to any other art as well), it would probably be helpful to go do something completely different for a while, and come back to the task at hand afterwards. At least it works for me.

What do you mean you... "suppose" ...writing is an art? Of course writing is an art. Lol. I'm a published writer! But yes, the best advice is to just keep on working on your art. Even if you're not sure if what you are creating is good, or you think it's bad... just let the creative juices keep flowing. Don't discard something immediately when you first think it is bad, either... always sleep on it. I've written stuff I hated, but after reading it again, I knew exactly what I needed to change.

  10. You know what I just realized? I could use those images and plug them into this program I have called RPG Maker... and I could make them part of a game! ...... wait, they already are part of a game.

But if the images were bigger, you could create a poster and sell it on eBay!

  11. I know that you guys are talented and have... what the kids call... those mad skills. Myself, I'm not good at graphics design, and I only have a basic understanding of html. So making a lookup for myself -- and creating one that will get past the restrictions on coding -- well, it's a feat that I'm not prepared to take on.

I was wondering if anyone here might like to design for me a user lookup. I'd like one that sort of like a mock-Final Fantasy / Dragon Quest RPG layout... but with neopets. You know, the four neopet warrior, readied for an adventure and set out against the evil slimes of the world.

And I want it to be in mostly shades of orange and yellow. You know, like those old pictures... of times gone past.

Does anyone here have absolutely nothing better to do with their time than to help me out?

  12. I actually agree with Sky Shadow on this one. Wearing a seat belt... should be circumstantial. If circumstances tell you that you should wear one, and you die... well, you picked the wrong circumstance. In either case... it shouldn't be a law.

Actually, I'm kind of jealous. He made my argument a lot better than I did.

  13. And logically speaking, it's impossible for aliens not to exist. If life can exist on Earth, then it will definitely exist on at least a few of the who-knows-how-many quintillion planets and dwarf planets out there. We just haven't found it yet.

Then again, what if there is only a 1 in who-knows-how-many quintillions chance that life will develop on a planet? It seems a dilemma, to be sure. But what if earth is special. What if humans kill themselves and their planet, and life... ceases... because it doesn't exists elsewhere?

  14. Oh dear. I mistyped my last post. Don't worry, I edited it. It used to say... "But it should be death." Now it says, "But should it be death?"

I have to reiterate. I'm against the death penalty. I'm for a better justice system.

PS - Death isn't a middle ground, but with my typo, I see why you thought I meant that. Death is one of the extremes. I wanted to avoid extremes.

  15. 1. What kind of shots are they? (HIV, tetanus, etc.)

I'm not as up on the science as Patch. I just know they were vaccinations.

    2. Where do you live where shots were once mandatory (just a general area or the state you live in)?

I live in the U.S., central Illinois. I think they were mandatory, once.

    3. Have any of the children who received the shots with mercury actually gotten autism?

Apparently, Patch will tell you no. But I've read stories, so I guess I don't really know. My wife does all the research on this, and she is convinced it is true.

  16. Well, it looks like blue is winning in the poll... so far... by 1 point. That's a shame... none of the blue-lovers seem "calm" at all. *shifty eyes* I could get pelted with a pie from any one of them at any minute.

By the way... and FYI... you only get black from mixing colors if you are mixing solids. When you mix all the colors in a light spectrum you get white. So white might not be a color either. o.O
