Does the forum arcade still exist? It may have been a long time since I have logged onto the forums and actually used that arcade ;) If it does exist, I am sad to not be able to find it :sad02:

Signed up to Kiko Lake for the 5th year in a row :) Don't expect to achieve a super high ranking, just enjoy the company of the KL players! (Although, last year we did have a few surprise upsets, perhaps we might gain a few new supporters to make a difference this year.)

Hopefully I will have a bit more time to play in the cup this year, hasn't been ideal over the last few. Looking forward to it! Good luck and have fun all!

Don't you mean third time ;) Definitely not a match up we want to relive :P The bracket this time around is tough, 4 of the top 6 ranked teams are in it! MI will pose another challenge, KI could be difficult to beat and Meridell have gained a lot of momentum... I find it interesting that after our first day win against the Knights they have picked right up again and will probably be our toughest competitors again this time round.

The Vaelous bracket is a tough bracket too - Kreludor, DC, MQ are all capable teams this year and HW has the potential to further add some competition to the mix. The Minitheus bracket is a little bit lighter going with 3 middle ranked teams and 3 lower ranked teams.

It will be interesting to see how this round plays out!

Well it was to be expected ;) After our first win against Meridell, we lost our second encounter. Same with Tyrannia. Same with Maraqua. It just seems the our rematches do not go our way.

Interesting that you mention Stealth... After some of the defeats of higher level teams, rather than congratulations or "enjoyed the match against your team today," we Kikos are seeing a lack of sportsmanship this year, including players coming onto our board to tell us that we only won because of stealth. That's unfortunate because we are here to play and enjoy the cup. Regardless of whether Stealth are on our team or not, there are players who get upset that other teams feel the need to diminish the efforts of our members by making their contributions to the day seem worthless!

But it was a good match and we got an outcome that we desired, even if YYB was a lost cause. Thanks for the luck against MI, we will need it! :laughingsmiley: Especially as they are coming off that loss to Tyrannia, they will be looking for redemption :sad02:

It will be tough against MQ today. We haven't fared too well so far in our rematches against other teams.

Some players seem to feel they have the bracket system worked out and that we will go up against MI tomorrow. Not so happy about that one ;)

There is an awful lot of sweeping going on ;) Not enough upsets for my liking :P

Once again referring to your daily predictions, I find it interesting that you mention that Mystery Island has "no serious challengers remaining in their current bracket"... Do us Kikos not pose at least a minor challenge? :sad02:

Certainly an interesting day, that's for sure! Don't want to be underestimating Moltara, they have been able to take some games this year :S

Interesting set of predictions TDN has made this time around, predicting 6 sweeps. I guess there aren't any real stand out games there, although it will be interesting to see MI and MQ I suppose.

From what I understand, you get points dependent on how you ranked in each bracket. 1st place gets 13 points, down to 6th place getting 1 point. Each new bracket is worth more points than the last I think. Meaning that the 2nd bracket will offer more points than the first and so on. Not sure how the bonus points come into play...

If that is the case, sure would be good to get a nice bracket last ;) I think the bracket that we Kikos are in this time round isn't half bad at all.

I want to see Kiko vs. Kreludor. Minitheus bracket seems the weakest, no clear dominators at all.

I would say that Minitheus is certainly the most well matched group. They don't have any weak teams in there, all 6 teams have been relatively strong at various times. Also, I don't want to see Kiko vs. Kreludor ;) It will be very tough indeed.

The last three years I have gone with Kiko Lake. This is my 5th cup... Don't play too much in it, but I enjoy the atmosphere and the Kiko players are friendly! :)

I got an Altador Cup V Competition Torch with my sign up this year.

I can't believe more focus was given to Kiko Lake! Their victory takes them out of the bottom tier, which is pretty much historic for them! 12th place is brilliant for KL! With Shenkuu facing tough competition today, there is a chance that KL could move up to 11th after facing Altador.

Since we are nearing the end of the round-robin, it looks like anybody in the top 9 has a strong chance at a podium finish. Looking forward to the second round-robin stage!

I'm happy for TM. Of all the other underdog teams, (and many of the other teams), I'm glad TM is doing well :)

Well I can't say I was expecting anything in our match against KI, but we did alright with the SS win I suppose..

Up against Tyrannia today, again no easy feat. But I suppose, so far, none of our opponents have exactly been easy :|

Have you been reading the KLASSY forums? Because those are very similar to what half the people said when we lost. But truthfully? What can we do when we lose? Nothing. So we must return to the game, set ourselves new targets and hope to beat them.

So far, I've come across the backwards and speedy glitches. I'm too afraid to send score on them though -.- Glitched games worry me :P

It happened to me once. I just ended the game and restarted another game which ran fine. I'm sure it's just another glitch :)

Not a bad first day :) Although, there seemed to be a lot of people wondering whether or not TNT had messed up some of the scores -.-

As Brightvale did so well, I've been playing hard all day to try and make an impact while we play them.

Whilst I support Kiko Lake b) I'll be realistic in saying that Shenkuu or Lost Desert will take out the cup this year.

Although Moltara may have a good chance this year. Can't wait to see how it all goes down! :)

I've competed the last two years. The first year, my decision was based on which team was likliest to win, according to what I read on these forums. - So Krawk Island.

The 2nd year I decided to go with a location I would truly enjoy playing for - so Kiko Lake.

Chances are I'll go for Kiko Lake or Meridell this year.

I find it more fun to win as Kiko Lake, because it's a lot harder. When I was with KI, after we had won several times, I was hoping we would lose one or two so we could be more thrilled when we won. ;)

I love them both! I might think about getting one of them :P Wonder how much the petpet by themselves run for! The Jinjah is one of the best looking petpets I have ever seen!

Day two - 3 scores of 1700 in pterattack ... Who are they kidding? I can barely score 400 half the time :hmmph:

What is the point of the game? It is merely a revamped and done-up copy of the first one, with 2 brand new power ups. Was it really needed? Seems like a waste of time and money to me :l

Despite what people are saying I think this years prizes are fine. Of course the jerseys are of the past winners! Last year they only had HW and DC jerseys so it makes sense for them to have added last years winner only this year. As for the cloud paint brush, If you don't like it don't buy it, or complain about it. They are just adding things to keep those people who , like me, thought last year there weren't enough prizes. Seriously, after having a look at some of the ungrateful people posting on the NeoBoards, if I were TNT I would stop the Altador cup all together. I think next year one of those old-fashioned plots which well and truly outdid anything the Altador Cup could do would be much more fun!

As for the prizes themselves, the coloured yooyus and the Lilo Blumario Action Figure are pretty cool. I myself think I might go for the vintage Jerseys. Enjoy your prizes! :)
