I'm using Ubuntu and it boots up fast. I have both xp and linux here and I boot up on Linux when I need only internet. Or you can just set your computer to hibernate when you press the power button instead of shut down.

I've been trying to make a drawing of mommyswine but I'm not sure if it will be good enough since I only used PC paint. I don't have access to a scanner. In case it gets accepted, I'll definitely advertise here too!

Ooh, that hurt! Good thing you finally got it. My most recent was advert attack (it wasn't as hard as I thought!). I just followed a guide that I found and it really helped. I didn't even have to use the secret code because of that guide.

Basically, just train Endurance, Strength, and Defense, and buy really strong weapons (minimum 9-icons) and a healing item, and you should do fine.

Yes, that must be really tough. When I gave birth to my eldest son, Diego, I was still in the middle of my specialty training, which required me to be in the hospital for almost 36 hours at a time, with only 12 hours off. It was a crazy time, with me and my hubby both in the same program. We decided to let our son live with my in-laws and we would continue staying in our apartment right beside the hospital. However, we ended up going home to the baby almost daily (he was about 2 hours commute away) that our apartment was rarely being used. We decided to give up the place (within 2 weeks) and live with the in-laws since we had nobody to watch the baby when we were both at work. It was sooo tiring but it was worth it. I can't imagine living away from my kids ever.

Thanks to the previously mentioned person who is retiring soon, I am now a neomillionaire!!! He gave me 2,400,000 NP!!!!!!!!!!!! *happy dance* :D :D :D :D :D :D :D I had never even imagined that many neopoints!! 0_0

I think he definitely qualifies as one of the nicest people on Neopets.

The nicest person I met on neo lent me a Zdap and FQD for very little collateral. He just decided I could be trusted. I was still quite new then (around 4 months I think and with only 150 avatars) and I don't think my account was old enough to be trustworthy to anyone.

To all: Just remember to be careful about people promising you things. It might be a scammer trying to gain your trust. Someone asked to be neofriends with me and then promised to give me the stuff in his account because he was quitting neo. Then he started asking for personal info so "he could keep in touch" when he left. I guess I wasn't the only one he mailed because before I could even reply, his account got frozen.

As for me, I got the usual... absolutely nothing. :sad01_anim:

I made the same mistake too when I was new. I didn't know about ETS or HTS items and I traded an ETS for an HTS item :S

Needless to say, I got stuck with it for such a long time that I decided to just sell it for a huge discount, just to get the neopoints out of it. Never use the TP as a guide to prices. Most people have trades up for much much worth than its real price. Yes, the boards would be a better guide. Just ask around. Anyway, good luck selling.
