yup, you get the golden trophy when you beat AAA every day.

Oh wow, my heart sank when I saw that medal, zero neopoints and a broken item. I was like: SAY WHAT ???!!! All those hours for nothing? I am relieved that everyone has the same glitch.

 

Can't wait for my GOLDEN trophy :D :D :D

Finally, one of my favorites. My highscore is 2466, so this is going to be easy peasy!

Phew, it took me a few hours of practice but I got it: 3616. And I got the avatar (obviously) to top it off :)

The tips earlier in this topic helped me a lot: make vertical combo's on the bottom half of the screen. I managed my score with this technique, only making 3-combo's.

I found it more easy than last year. Just have patience.

I had the score pretty quickly, but I made a mistake: I thought that the stage points would be added to my score even if I didn't finish stage 3. Blech, I had to start all over again.

The tip of Enwhyyou helped me, just pretend that you are practicing :D

Also, what helped me was to start over when I lost a life in the first level. And to play it on normal size and low quality

Meh, this is going to take some time... I want the normal Hasee Bounce!!! Later in the competition maybe?

Ah, the bliss of an easy break :D

I have a tip that helped me a lot when I discovered it while playing: once the Meepits start to appear 2 at a time, try to feed them at the same time, with the same pipetrack. I found it useful to start from the Meepits and then on to the colored 'beginning pipes'. It saves you time, because you will clear them at the same time, and you get double points per pipe. Because you have more time, you can build bigger tracks.

 

I hope this helps. I played for 2 hours, but once I discovered this I beat AAA's score in no time

How odd, I found this ' hard' challenge far more easy than yesterday's ' medium-' challenge... I still didn't beat AAA on that one... Here I made it at the second try. I waited long in the first levels, getting 7-8 pounts per bug, later I shot them at the moment the parachute appeared. And I did it on a laptop without a mouse!

Finally a game at which I am good at! I play Destruct-o-Match every day. Usually I score somewhere around 2000, my highscore is 2500. At these times I whish AAA's scores would be higher. But at games I'm not that good, I am happy about it ;)

OMG, my luckiest moment just happened! I found a Pirate Draik Egg on the forgotten shore!!

I was so bummed that I didn't get a FFQ last year, but this makes up for it big time!

I also like them more than the 8-bit neopets. I think the petpets look better, maibe because they are small characters, just like tamagotchi's and old 8-bit game characters. So more nostalgia ;)

I am curious if the Lab Ray will grant this colour.

I did every puzzle/assignment of the event, but I missed 2 of the last days (I completed them, but not at the release day).

 

yesterday I went to the Squid first, and then to the mansion. And I didn't get a single neopoint or item. On the forum someone posted a message of TNT that there was a glitch and that not everyone got their rewards at the mansion. But today I still got nothing. Is there an update about the glitch? Or was the TNT message fake and was there no glitch? I mean, I did everything of the event/plot, so at least I could have a tiny reward, right?

I don't believe its a glitch. Even if you complete all the puzzles, you would only get the max prize with the theme if you did every puzzle the day it was released. At least that's how it was for me and my friends.

 

Yeah but, I didn't even get a neopoint or a event thingy on my user lookup. That's weird, right?

I thought something was wrong because it says nothing about this on the TDN main page...

The bad thing is: I did everything on the same day, exept for the last 3 puzzles because I was on vacation. But I completed them all in the end. It's not fair, compaired to the small difference in the Negg Festival when people didn't do everything on time.

 

Or did I do something in the wrong order? I went to the Krawken (whaaha funny name) first, then got to the mansion and said: Sign me Up, end at that point I got the above message. Was I supposed to be redirected to the Krawken when I said 'Sign me Up'?

 

EDIT: oh, I see there is a glitch or something, but how come some people did get their main prizes then?

My crewmembers were different, and I had to do it by myself. But I didn't mind, I was going to anyway. It's really fun!

i love it. it's really easy for me cause i've always been big on sudoku but the prizes have gotten better. and a new map piece. maybe the main prize will be everyone will get a full set

 

Hm, maibe. You mean by everyone collecting then through the stages? Because I can imagine that some people didn't get a map piece.

I found a course online which was really helpfull. But it's in Dutch so I don't think it's very useful for you guys.

But there must be something in English too, no doubt. It basically says to use to techniques (for 9x9)

-1. try to fill in the numbers/crew numbers one at a time (for example, only the 1's , or in this case let's say the red crew member). Go block by block, and first check the rows, then the colums. Repeat that, because when you fill some crewmembers in, some other blocks can be filled in too.

2. fill in the remaining by searching for rows, columns or blocks that only have one square left. repeat technique one and two until it's full.

I'm also not good at sudoku :S But this is manageable... for now..
