I think it'd be cool if the players in the game had unique playing characteristics and teams actually had their own strategies. :D It'd make gameplay more interesting, possibly harder though.

Maybe I just don't get it, but in the instructions of Yooyuball it says if you win 4-2 you contribute 2 points to your teams daily score, and if you win 8-0 you contribute 8. So isn't it just a simple point count in the end? Therefore freeloaders would certainly help but wouldn't hurt...?

Justin, there's info sometimes including gender on wiki (though I don't know how they get that info), and I could swear I remember reading about the characters' history on Neopets but that seems to be nowhere. Methinks they need more neopedia articles.

Heh, that's a good one! Guess he got tired of being on the sidelines of the field so took a break. XP I've noticed Darigan players tend to score with him the least.

Today when the first (and normal) yooyu came out it seemed slower than a snow ball! I would punt it as fast as I could and caught it again within two steps! Even if a snow ball can get past the goalie this one was just too slow (or my game was off, cough) so I threw it into my own goal, haha. Then the techo screamed at me. :( But the next two normal yooyus after that were just as slow, same with the following fire one! Got the hang of it though and hasn't happened again. Fun glitches are fun.

I think the awads shouldn't be based on the team overall. It should be for each individual player. There could be one team with a few dedicated players, and a whole lot that doesn't even play.

What I meant was the awards given to the /characters/ of the team. Layton Vickles, Lilo Blumario and so on. Speaking of whom is Lilo a guy or girl...?

Royal seems likely. Or perhaps really expensive stamps. :mellow:

I wanna know how the MVP awards and All-Star teams are voted. Is it based on the amount of goals by each player?

Fire's the best, and I like clockwork because it's more interesting, plus it's fun when you leave the ball alone when it's red and the other team players go to pick it up... :evil: Hehe.

Darigan's the most annoying, cause I just can't get the angle right and it totally stuffs up the momentum I get. I've only had a couple of lucky shots with it. Faerie's not quite as bad. Mutant is okay cause it usually goes in a straight line for me, and he's a crazy little bugger :P

Yes, Meridell is a fine team (despite Pollonaire's absense...) but it just shows how lazy Darigan has gotten. Even though we're obviously struggling now people are still assuming we'll get easy victories over these little teams. I'm starting to think we don't have as many supporters as first thought because a lot of people knew the winners slump afterwards. Ah well... Come on second or third place~!

Actually I'm surprised Shenkuu's doing so poorly, does that chart up there say they're behind /Virtupets/? Sucks to be those people who went to them thinking they'd take over this year! :whistle:

So just how close do the scores have to be for it to be considered a draw? It's nearly impossible for an exact point tie, let alone several.

By the way, if everyone who signed up for Darigan put a little effort in, we'd kick all your backsides. :evil:

The teams all seem to play pretty similarly to me, although I have noticed the Ixi from Meridell is constantly almost hanging on to my butt! A couple of them also like to shove my team around, even after the goal has been made; what are the contact rules dude?!

I wonder how DC plays as an automatic team.
