  1. This petpage is the general guideline for BD to UC conversions: http://www.neopets.com/~Nitali#pyramid. However, it's the name more than the stats that are important when trading BD pets for UCs. RN, RW, and less than 5L are much easier to trade for UCs. You might want to reconsider training a pet with a name that doesn't fall into those categories since with less and less desirable names, the value of the BD pet depreciates to the point where your HSD should get you into a higher tier, but you end up having to trade for a lower tier. Also, try making your BD pet a lab-only color Draik or Krawk. The zapping will help with training, and it's far easier to trade with an exclusive color and species rather than a generic Red Ogrin. Good luck!

  2. If your score is not reviewed and accepted before December, you won't get a trophy this month. With that said, your score will go through next month and since the high score tables would have been cleared, you'll probably get gold or silver. Congratulations on getting your trophy!

  3. I'm not even mad at JumpStart for this glitch; I think it's hilarious.

How many people are keeping it attached as a petpet? I sold mine because I know that when the glitch is fixed, the price will drop. The 100k was a nice compensation for how frustrating Itchy Invasion was. I love trophy hunting and playing games over and over, stategizing and practicing, but that one was infuriating.

  4. I highly recommend http://idnq.net/index.php?page=viewguide&id=29! That guide is written for people on normal difficulty, so on Insane, we have to fight Mastermind and then Xantan Reborn right after Jahbal. Just as a refresher, Mastermind has 1000 HP. He can drain you of 50 HP (and therefore heal himself of 50 HP) and hit you with fire and ice magic for 120 HP. I couldn't find much about Xantan Reborn when I researching him prior to typing this, but I know that he has 1300 HP and, from other people's experiences, he shouldn't be a huge threat. I plan on using most of my potions when fighting Mastermind, keeping my Superior Healing Potions for Xantan Reborn. I'm not too worried about Jahbal because I defeated him fairly easily when on evil mode, and the last thing I want is to die from Mastermind's fire and ice attacks. In the case that Jahbal is very close to killing me, I will use a stronger potion and I will try my best to go into fighting Mastermind with as high health as possible. As a general rule, heal whenever your HP is at or below the maximum that the boss can hit you for. Oh, and make sure you equip the Moonstone Staff before the endgame fight! As always, I'm always happy to answer more questions when they come to mind! XD

  5. Thank you geoterza! You've helped so many people and I really appreciate you going out of your way for us.

I read through the thread, and you said to not worry about giving anything in exchange, but would it be alright to send you something? I saw that your Lenny's petpage had a list of stamps you needed. If you would let me, I would love to give you a few as a token of my thanks. :laughingsmiley:

  6. I'm curious. If two stocks were both at 15 and you had 60,000 shares on one and 0 in the other, which would you buy? Would you buy the former so you can profit more when it hits your sell point or would you buy the latter to diversify your portfolio? I concentrate my investments in stocks I already hold. It's a terrible investment philosophy in real life, but despite the deflation in the Neopets economy, stocks haven't gone bankrupt in ages. :laughingsmiley:

  7. I'm nearly done with Insane, so I tell you what I learned from my experiences. There are no particular guides for Insane because the storyline is basically the same. For practical advice, train up two levels above what is recommended for the boss. You don't need Resurrection. If you get that skill, you're taking skill points away from genuinely useful skills like the Shock skill tree. Resurrection is a chance of being resurrected, so you still might have to go travel all the way back if you die again. The best approach is to prevent dying, but you can only do that by optimally allocating points (i.e. not getting Resurrection) and grinding (i.e. leveling two above what you should be for the boss). Always make sure you have the Life family of staffs and conserve potions. I would sometimes switch between the endgame Moonstone Staff and Life Staff so I could heal and save potions before the final bosses. When I would encounter a monster, I would cast absorption, cast Spirit of Growth, and flee. In desperate situations when you have to use potions, use the weakest potion you can get away with. Save Spirit Healing Potions because the endgame bosses are a marathon. In the end, some of Insane is luck, so don't get too discouraged if you die even with my advice, but keep going; the gold trophy is quite an accomplishment!

  8. I was frozen for cheating, but had proof that my account was hacked, they just unfroze it. It took them 8 years to unfreeze it though. No I am stuck deciding if i want to use my old account as my main or my current one.

Congratulations on getting your account back! I can't imagine how happy you must have been after finally having it returned to you after eight years. I hope OP is as fortunate.

As an off topic note, I love your art! Your landscapes are beautiful.

  9. I doubt that TNT would give you your account back if their reason for freezing you was cheating, sorry. Apart from posting your situation on Neopets' Facebook page, there's not much you can do. In any case, I hope your ticket wasn't assigned to Rico; I realized that my childhood account had been hacked and sent in a ticket, but he closed it after many months without even a cursory explanation. Nevertheless, good luck!
