  1. So for the past week or so, the daily questions (and answer) has been the same - The wheel of monotony.

    Are they really lazy, have a bug or just having a really really bad joke? :P

  2. Yes, I didn't even think of that! I like to pick up freebies, as does everyone, but it makes it hard on everyone. I don't really think there's anything that can be done though is there? Apart from asking them not to, but we all know that won't work :/

  3. I see what you mean - I ended up neomailing the guy and basically saying "hey, if you want something, just ask for it - it'll be less hassle" - think I struck a nerve! Oh well, hopefully he won't do it again.

    But 100% agree - it's just stupid! I don't see the point - if you want something, ask for it, otherwise, you are just going to get everything from junk upwards.

    Edited - my stupid mistake - he's put the item up AGAIN saying it's free. Gosh darn it (politest way to put it!) that's just annoying. -.-

  4. Not quite sure what to put this under - but over the last day or there's been at least one user who keeps putting up morphing potions for free, and then closing the lots. I've checked their shop out, and they aren't underselling themselves, so I'm not sure if they've been hacked or not, or what to do - should I message them and ask them what they're up to?

  5. Hello all, I've been away for a few months, and I came back today and there seems to be a lot of new stuff going on (like the spinning thing as soon as I logged on? Awesome!) so yeah, I was wondering if anyone could update me with the big stuff that's happened in the last...six months I guess! :)

Heya, I'm not sure if this is to do with neopets being down or something else (I presume it's another bug) - I bought a load of NC stuff on the 23rd, it's all logged in my transactions, and yet my stuff is nowhere to be found - I didn't donate/discard the stuff, but it's not in my wardrobe, inventory or SDB - anyone else getting this?

  7. True, glad they're attempting to do the best they can. Now that they're actually openly admitting to and acknowledging the issues, I know I have gained a lot more patience with it. Then again, for me it never was about instant fixes, but about the prospect of getting things fixed at all--and acknowledging the issues was a huge step in that.

     

    A step that finally makes me feel that they realize how bad the problems are/were and how frustrating things become as a result. A step that shows me they are committed to resolving the issues and to keeping us at least somewhat informed in what we can expect for the time being.

     

    It's a lot easier to be patient when you know that they're trying; that they are working on things no matter how slow progress may be.

    Sure, they may have been working on things before, but when things merely keep getting worse and worse and they don't say a single thing about the many issues, it's a lot easier to start wondering "do they even realize how impossible this is for us? Are they even working on making things better?" than when they are upfront and basically say "this lag is bad, we know. We're working on it. We can't promise when exactly it will be done, but we're trying our best. As a result, the site will be down then-and-then for maintenance."

    I agree. I'm not one of the people on their FB screeching to fix everything, and I am so very, very glad they've admitted there is a problem. I'd like it if they could say what they've done and what they will be working on etc - if nothing else, it stops us complaining that they haven't done this or that yet.

It's not really lagging for me, but I've just about had enough of the glitching nps now - for about 3 or 4 days, it isn't telling me the right amount - it's going up and down and up and down, then gets stuck at a total, I try to put it and the bank and suddenly I have about 200 nps less -.- really, really not impressed...

    Does this mean they listened? Does this mean they are actually fixing lag? I really hope so! To be honest, I haven't been that affected, but I'm fed up of hearing about it all XD

  10. Sorry if this is in the wrong part! Basically I was wondering -

    1) what is the wishlist? (it's on your lookup)

    2) is it ever going to be ready? As long as I can remember (roughly 18 months/2 years) it's just been "coming soon" :(

  11. It's absolutely ridiculous isn't it? Silly old filter.

     

     

    Neopets filters are annoying lately -- I don't think there's anything you can do about it. You could try sending a ticket, but I doubt it would help anytime soon.
