The only things on my Christmas wishlist this year are cute Bruce items... I just can't get enough of Bruces :wub_anim: I know it's silly but my mum got me a little real pink bruce plushie online as an early Christmas present and I just about died....

Like you, I do not understand this at all. I remember being horrified when I bought 25$ online and got no boxes. The only rational reasoning I can maybe think of behind this is that they are trying to entice others to buy the cards, as opposed to online, because then they are making the stores a certain amount of profit and the stores will continue to want to stock them? But like you've said, if you live in a Country where these cards aren't available, this is a huge problem. And I think it's rather unfair in general, anyway. They could give rare item prize codes to those purchasing the cards if they want to push people towards that option, but gift boxes are kind of essential in the NC mall world and everyone should be able to get them. This might be an interesting thing to submit into the editioral, if it hasn't been already.

I've never quit officially but I've gone through long periods (even years) where I didn't play. I would never quit and clear out my account though, because I've learned that I more or less always like to go back, even if it's just to check on some things, work on some doodling, etc. I started playing when I was very little and am now 21 and still enjoying it, so I don't see why that would ever change! Sometimes I just get preoccupied or don't have time I would otherwise use to play.

Yes! Playing the Wonderclaw I got 3 dreaded Book Arches. I'm not sure about the Meepit Stache, as I've only played once, but because what you get is more or less random (I know the colors matter, but getting the same color could give you the same prize), I would assume this game is no different than the others. With set prizes, though, like the Stocking Stufftacular (not sure if you consider that a game) you won't get duplicates because they have a set gift for each day.

Okay so I have a WVN (French RW) Alien Aisha and I went about trading, assuming I'd be able to maybe get a cute chocolate or white pet if I was lucky, but was suddenly bombarded with neomails of people offering Royal Krawks and things like that and I'm so confused... Are Alien Aishas sought after? Does anyone know what they usually trade for?

If it's something you genuinely enjoy, why try and convince yourself to quit just because of your age?! I used to feel a little silly about playing (I'm 21) but then one day I kind of stopped myself and thought... Wait a minute. What is so different between Neopets and.... video games? xbox? Not a whole lot, really. And those are things nearly everyone plays with recretionally. All of my friends know I avidly play and even if they think it is a little childish, I don't mind! My dad is the only one who really rolls his eyes (my mum usually puts an NC mall card or something in my stocking at Christmas)

So I'm pretty confused about the Rare Item Codes you can redeem at the Grundo Warehouse. When I look up the prizes you can win at Jellyneo's Item Database, there are so many beautiful items I would just love to have.

They aren't in the main shops, nor do they seem to exist for sale in shops or the TP.

 

But when I got some merchandise and redeemed the codes, I got items like:

 

Incredibly cheap and buyable items...

 

Is there no way to obtain these other items, other than a complete fluke chance (should I continue to buy and buy and buy items)?

As others have said, I too have never heard of anything like this happening. I'm also wondering if perhaps you were bidding on the wrong lot. When you looked into your inventory and saw you had those items and not the right map piece, did you go back to the TP and see if you could find the same lot with "free" in the description? Because if it was still there, I'd definitely say it was just an accident and you bid on the wrong lot! Sorry that this happened to you! :(

I've been searching for a while and can't seem to find a definite answer so I thought I would post and see if someone could help me out. Forgive me if this has already been asked! But I made a Classic Neohome when I first began playing 8 years ago or something, and was very poor... so everything was as basic as it could get. I know you can demolish room by room and slowly rebuild, but is there anyway for me to completely wipe out my Classic Neohome / address / everything so that I could rebuild in a place like Faerieland?

I've gotten 2 beads and a few transmogrification potions (aisha and lupe) :woot:

and a few nerkmids!

Heh, so I am a bit of a petpage junkie. I really love making sites, pages, adoptables, etc. I won the Site Spotlight a few months ago and now when I try to submit my other site, it says "One of your sites has already won the site spotlight!" So I'm just wondering if this is permanent and I cannot submit again unless it's a site from a site account, or if this is a temporary ban, much like the beauty contest. I would definitely understand their reasons for only allowing 1 win per account, so that everyone gets a fair shot, etc, I'm just asking in case I'll be able to submit later on.

I would love to find good homes for my UFA pets! Please let me know if you'd have interest in taking ownership of any of these little cuties heh.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies! I understand what you're saying about the preference of the trader, but my point for asking was really because I wasn't sure if such trades ever happened at all. Every time I blink, UCs seem to change in value, so I wasn't even sure if a draik was considered an acceptable or fair offer at all! I didn't want to get my hopes up thinking I might be able to get a UC with a draik in the event that it wouldn't happen, heh!

Pet trading really has become an incredibly complicated ordeal! I can hardly follow all of the pound chat. Anyway, I was wondering, what kind of converted pet can be traded for any UC (including the most low end)? I have a pirate draik that I could do a custom on - would this be anywhere near getting me an Unconverted? :(

Actually, I was casually restocking a bit on Monday and was almost immediately banned - wasn't even refreshing all that much! The ban only lasted a few hours but I was surprised it happened!

Definitely Mutant Graveyard of Doom II. I love the graphics and the theme, plus it's an easy 3000 NPs aday, gorgeous avatar to win...oh and I take great delight in kicking the tombstones over the goblins and ghosts :)

Twice in one week I went to my own lookup and got a random event.. The first one was that I found a Yellow Urapa Bead (sold for 700k.... :O) and the other one was that I found a Normal Golden Nerkmind (sold for 190k.....) ..My jaw actually dropped.
