If you look in the "coming soon" section under news, it says "A Mysterious Voyage Continues" - that sure sounds like a plot to me. I don't know how often that's updated though, so it may not really mean a lot.

The "Mysterious Voyage" was in either early 2011 or 2010, wasn't it? And we do know a new plot is coming soon and the Battledome is getting updated, so I am expecting a war soon. Probably early next year after the holiday season ends.

Today, I re-discovered the Food Club and realized how profitable it can be. You can make up to ten bets a day, and get some pretty good odds. You can make up to 1 million per bet.

Does anyone know what the top update was about? On the news section, it seems like TNT had a coding error.

Ahahhaa, those are SO cool. I love that TNT has a sense of humour sometimes! :D

They almost always do. Due to the corporatization and newfound need to be PC, it has changed their ability to joke, though.

I found a lot of these back in the day because I searched the BD high scores and it lead me to look for names. I never realized I could use the search option to find successful Neopians and they'd actually have tips on their petpages. I'm still forever greatful to garmfry, even though he has no idea who I am!

Definitely get to work on Habi as soon as you can. It's a Neopoints-making machine. Definitely worth it.

Also, there are rumors of a battle plot coming up, so focus on training your pets so you don't miss out on another plot!

Hope my advice helped a bit. I'd love to hear you reminisce some time; I've been on Neo for a long time as well, but not nearly as long.

I stalk Garmfry and Dragona, and am super jealous of them on a daily basis LOL

 

I've actually seen these accounts before, honestly.

I think they're being cheeky lil :) and keeping the BDers who are waiting for a plot on the site. If they don't mention a plot every once in a while people start to get aggy and quit cause there's 'nothing to do'. If they keep us on our toes a bit, people will keep playing.

 

I do think that next year there will be a plot though, perhaps straight after the new year. That's my prediction :3

My guess is around the start of the new year, too.

I'm wondering if they're going to do something based on the Stealth Pain Brush.

Make sure to sign up for the community thing before feeding your pet or playing the game. I fed my pets first and didn't realize I hadn't signed up.

 

I love the extra 3,000 Nps, though. I ran out while trying to train and this is a HUGE help.

Rebecca and I actually have each other as rivals now and so we've been keeping track of the points our pets get as a way to kind of keep ourselves motivated.

It really works for me! She's a slavedriver with her poor Neopets and really good competition LOL

 

I've gained one level from a Light Faerie Quest and Two Health from training today.

That puts us at 24/1000

Sold my Attack Leaf and bought a Ylanas Blaster, notice the difference when battling :-)

Yay!!! It's much, much better. And now that your pet does 3 icons per attack, you're doing like 6 more damage per attack, and your attacks are much harder to block (it'll be 9 more with your next boost).

If I were you, I'd start saving my extra NP for a higher-tier weapon, like something you can buy from the Hidden Tower.

Jhudora's Quest is basically impossible, tbh.

She asks for R99 items, so very few people have actually finished her quests.

TNT just revealed in the new Editorial that the Healing Spring prizes are based on your average visits.

Not sure what it means, but you can check it out in this week's editorial.

I'm wondering if it's like underwater fishing, where the more you go, the better you get. Idk.

I hope it's far off, too. I want my Kacheek to hit another strength boost. Unfortunately, that probably won't happen this year :( I'm hoping the next plot starts in February of next year, but I would prefer a Halloween plot so I want it to start early in two months.

TNT has to shake things up every now and again. The members who have been on forever have such an unfair advantage and can make so many NPs just by selling mundane items from when they were around that got retired. It just keeps the economy of Neopia a bit more fluid, which is something that has to happen with Neo after losing a large amount of members.

In the latest editorial, TNT answered the question of soccerboy with:

I'm so upset LOL Nothing notable ever happens on Neo when I'm on. And EVERYTIME I've ever taken a break or been hacked, a plot has happened.

DO NOT SELL YOUR HCC. If there's ever a dark-themed plot, it will be very, very handy.

You need to buy either Brynns Legendary Sword of Smiting (I got mine for 600k, they're HTS so people will barter) or a Ylanas Blaster (more expensive, but different icons).

Are there any rumors that the new plot is approaching? I figured it would be a BD update and they'd add relevance to Movement, or something.

Finally hit the 125 strength boost with my Kacheek! Got the "Hermeedjet" avatar after FINALLY beating Mission 8 of Defenders of Neopia. Also, made 125k.

Overall, a very, very good Neo day! And I only spent like an hour playing!
