  1. This is great, thanks so much for making such an organized guide! :) It certainly helps me as I was thinking about quick training my pet using super or cool neggs.

I would recommend using Cool Neggs, for only 37 more Tokens you add 1-4 Strength points into the mix. If you are hard set on quick training your pet through stat increasers I have an entire thread about them you can find linked in my signature. If you do 5-10 of any of these variable Neggs if you wouldn't mind putting down your results for each consumption and approximately how much it cost to do the testing it would help out quite a bit. :)

EDIT: I added a new section called the Neggery Negg Current Cost Ratio to the guide! Enjoy even more data!!

  2. Admin Alias Your Alias

An alias can be added only for an active account.

It would seem that when they stated:

Buying or selling Neopoints for real life money is NEVER legitimate. Any account discovered to be buying or selling items / Neopoints / Neopets for real life cash (outside of the NC Mall) will have all of their accounts frozen. These sites are often malicious, and could possibly endanger your account security. Also, the things that these sites sell are often stolen from other players like yourself. Please protect your account, Neopets, and credit card information by never clicking on such a site, even just to "check it out."

...they really meant all of their accounts. I am being unfairly barred from using my account or any of my premium features because I was "buying or selling items / Neopoints / Neopets for real life cash" oh well. Thanks for the info, and when I get my account back I will be adding some account aliases since I now know about that feature.

  3. No offense taken :) Just frustrated at the situation, missing the Neopies on my main and missed a Space Faerie Scratchcard. Something else that is really frustrating is that I can't use the SSW during this time. I make between 100k-400k daily because of the SSW so not having it is hurting pretty badly. I can restock more now than I normally do but even so it is... lacking the same experience and I am always wary about my pricing.

  4. TNT doesn't just freeze accounts for no reason. They look into what they do. I've heard people claim otherwise, but I've managed to keep my account out of trouble for 10 full years...I haven't seen them be unfair personally. However, I would do it only a little bit of a time, just in case! ^-^ That's very nice of you btw.

Well I was frozen recently for this exact thing, I had two RL friends quit playing and they gifted me everything they had short of just giving me their accounts. This got me frozen for "Buying/Selling Neopoints for Money" and despite that I have submitted a ticket explaining this and all of my contributions to the community, helping others in boards, gifting regularly, writing hundreds of guides, writing many published guides in the Neopian Times, and being a Premium Member for years I am still waiting on a response about my account. So yes I feel that this is unfair.

Yes in fact my old account got frozen for this reason alone and they said it was because i bought neopoints when i obviously didn't. But I couldn't prove and boom, new account had to be made. Don't do it.

oh and i had never been warned before

Sorry that you are in the same boat I am to some degree. Sometimes it just doesn't make sense why things go down the way that they do.

  5. Besides contacting TNT regarding it the best thing you could do would be to purchase items and gift them to your friend. Specifically the Anagram Swords as these are popular and shift hands often as it is. Gifting is a fairly safe method for transferring large/expensive items and would make it look much better than doing 800k lots on the Trading Post.

  6. Yes but the experience gained from defeating him often outweighs skipping him. Just battle him get the decent drop from him and relish in the experience gained.

It may seem like an 'optional' battle but it really will help you as you progress.

  7. Another very common method is by offering a Baby PB + Neopoints.

For example, say you are wanting to offer 900k for an item.

    You would offer a:

Baby PB + 305k. Baby PB's can be bought and sold easily for 595k So this makes your offer 900k.

For higher priced lots it works the same way except you use Royal PB(s) instead of Baby PB(s).

Just figure up how much the difference is... essentially you can offer 6,750,000 Neopoints just in Baby Pb's and 800k pure.

  8. I do a lot of testing, I have an entire guide posted on Stat Increase items and how much it costs per point increase and what not. I love doing stuff like this and I am glad all of you are so appreciative of the effort and work I have made on this one. It is really encouraging when I see that others find it useful too.

  9. It is the cheapest 100% healer in the game, just use it with discretion. You may need 1-2 attempts at beating her and they are a little pricey. One use items can get expensive fast. Thick Smoke Bomb is another example of an item like that. One Use.

How much HP does your pet have?

You are also going to need a freezer, what species is the pet you will be using?

  10. This guide is to help you when determining the cost of Neggs vs. the Amount of Negg Tokens given at the Neggery and will help you in choosing the most cost efficient way to get Negg Tokens. The way it works is simple.

The item Negg for example only gives 1 Negg Token for its consumption at the Neggery, the average selling price of these is 2,250 Neopoints and all you have to do is divide that by 1 to determine how many Neopoints you will spend per Negg Token. The item Glass Negg is worth 5 Negg Tokens and the average selling price of these is 15,000 Neopoints and after dividing by 5 you can see that it costs 3,000 Neopoints per Negg Token.

Neggs marked as UB/UNKNOWN means that I could not find a price listed for that particular Negg but it is likely far overpriced.

Neggs marked as UB/KNOWN means that I could find a price but it is still likely to be far overpriced.

Neggs marked in GREEN are the cheapest and most cost effective ones to look at when going for Negg Tokens.

Neggs marked in RED are the most expensive UB Neggs that should only be looked at when going for collector items.

Neggs marked in BLUE are unknown values, if you come across an ACTUAL selling price please list the name of the Negg and link the Trade/Auction Lot where it can be seen.

Neggery Neggs marked in PURPLE are useful for Pet Training.

Neggery Neggs marked in BLACK are Battledome items.

  11. Once you hit level 29 I would recommend getting all three of the basic Faerie Abilities, Sink, Burrow, Drain Life as these are gonna be your bread and butter. These can downright destroy most high level opponents and stall out battle long enough to give you the edge you need to win.

I'd just train for a week or two then get back at Meuka and stomp him senseless :)

  12. The set I used was as follows:

    Prickly Potion

    Prickly Potion

H400 Helmet (Any freezer will work though)

    Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield

    Thick Smoke Bomb

Crisp Blue Tunic (best healer for the neopoints)

    Ghostkerbomb

    Sword of Reif

Due to the limitations of your available funds I recommend the following:

    Voidberry Potion

    Dual Battle Mirror

    Thief Dagger

    Patched Magic Hat

    Thick Smoke Bomb

Best healer you can afford with your remaining budget.

  13. You can train your HP 3x your level + 3 at the Mystery Island Training School. Keep working on those stats and build them geared for a specific league if possible look at league 8 builds specifically.

As far as suggestions go... I would recommend either a Green Scorchstone if you are wanting to abuse the Over Heal feature or Greater Healing scroll for as soon as you hit 55+ HP, since it heals 50 and can't over heal.

For a weapon I would recommend Kelpbeards Trident, this gives you two Anagram worthy weapons and solidifies your set.

  14. Just train your stats up some more and you will find that Mueka and many other Battledome Challengers are not that difficult. It would also help you a great deal when it came time for Plots. more plot points to spend, better rewards. :)

  15. I agree with this. I have 20 pets and think having more would be wonderful. As long as the owner is taking care of their pets which I take care of mine.

For some customization sets to look proper the pet needs to be sad. It would be wrong to punish people who are customizing for a specific look instead of flat out neglecting their pets.

  16. I didn't really think it was necessary to make a thread about this when its pretty much been posted about everywhere.

For anyone who cares to know however this is a slightly downgraded Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield.

Both shields are FULL light icon blockers and the main difference between them is the type of icons and how many icons they each defend against.

    For a quick comparison:

Dr. Sloths Personal Body Armour - light_def.gif All darkness_def.gifdarkness_def.gifdarkness_def.gifdarkness_def.gifdarkness_def.gifwater_def.gifwater_def.gifwater_def.gifearth_def.gifearth_def.gifearth_def.gifphysical_def.gifphysical_def.gifphysical_def.gifphysical_def.gifphysical_def.gif

Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield - light_def.gifAllwater_def.gifwater_def.gifwater_def.gifwater_def.gifwater_def.gifair_def.gifair_def.gifair_def.gifair_def.gifair_def.gifearth_def.gifearth_def.gifearth_def.gifearth_def.gifearth_def.gifphysical_def.gifphysical_def.gifphysical_def.gifphysical_def.gifphysical_def.gif

As you can see the Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield blocks for 2 additional water_def.gif water icons, 2 additional earth_def.gif earth icons, and it blocks air icons where as the Dr. Sloths Personal Body Armour blocks dark icons. The only other difference worth noting is that the Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield costs roughly 1.5m-2m more than the Dr. Sloths Personal Body Armour. Both are excellent shields nonetheless though I would recommend just saving that extra million or two and getting the Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield for the variation in icons.
