Can you get frozen for refusing to return an item that is being "lent?" I've heard of a few people doing that, but not sure what can be done to reprimand them!

When is the best time to buy some for an investment? Right now, for example, The Negg Strategy is around 22,000 or something. Will they plunge once everyone starts selling them, and then go back up in years to come? Or should I just buy now?

I have two questions:

 

How long will it take me to reach Level 50?

 

Why do my soldiers get confused when there is a pest attack? They fight one and then get those question marks and won't do anything even when I drag them over. Ahh, so frustrating.

 

Any tips for how someone get to level fifty super fast would be appreciated :) I've heard some conflicting opinions regarding whether you should have a lot of nesters and discard eggs for 200 each, or keep a lot of workers and not worry about that.

What does the bit about the ripped basket mean? Anything at all? Or am I just hoping that my first guess wasn't wrong? :)

 

I'm changing it from Selvin & Kiko Lake (which I was so darn sure about!) to Rutu and Shenkuu, which was the only other possible answer when I worked it all out the first time. I had wanted to get my guess in early and get a better prize (greed did me in) and so I put my money on Kiko Lake because it had lacked a big plot in recent times. Anyway, bit me in the behind, and now I'm switching to Shenkuu and Rutu which I am as sure as can be about.

Will the price go up eventually, or do you think it will all stay the same, more or less?

Yes, I have to agree -- there are other avatars that make me want to tear my hair out. At least the Vending Machine doesn't repeatedly infuriate me such as, oh let's say, Bilge Dice?

Just the avatar, but figured I'd go after some expensive prizes at the same time if I could. Unfortunately, not so lucky. A bit of money and gross food.

Does anyone have any idea if it really does (literally) pay off to use a rarer nerkmid? I'm going for the avatar but want to know if it's worth the gamble to go ahead and buy an expensive one and hope for a paintbrush or something of the sort. I know there's a good chance you get gross food or a bad prize, but just checking what other opinions there are out there.

 

Also, will the price deflate? I know they're not usually in the 220k range -- a bit lower, right? Considering waiting, even if just saves me 20 or 40k.

This is what I have so far:

 

Selvin - Kiko Lake

Voughn - Lost Desert - cloud negg

Rutu - Shenkuu

Knight - Brightvale - glass negg

Another - Altador

 

We know right away that Selvin is not going to Lost Desert or Brightvale just from the clues. We also know that he didn't go to Shenkuu (because this is Rutu,) and the way they spoke about stargazing made me assign Altador to the last person. This leaves Kiko Lake as the only option left for Selvin, and that's why I put that there. We know that Voughn has the cloud negg and we know the cloud negg goes to Lost Desert because that is the only option left for Voughn.

I have a theory! I think it has to do with the total amount of "est. np" that it indicates in the item details. Only a theory :) But none of the other theories seem to be infallible or logical. TNT has never done any avvie (that I can think of) that had so many confusing requirements, including seconds of the minute or anything like that. I do think it could have to be within 24 hours, or one week, or something as such.

 

Thoughts?

Item avvies! I feel resentful towards site event avatars because I am an on-off neopets player and therefore missed a lot of avatars that came out with plots, etc., in the last couple of years. It's so frustrating to know that I will never be able to get those avatars!

Sometimes I want to kick myself when I lose money but at the same time this is an important concept in real life, and I'm glad it carries over into the game.

Yes, it's definitely worth it! Just be patient, you'll get a good zap one day and be very excited.

Is the reason they inflated that KQ no longer gives them out? Will they start giving them out again, or is that over?

 

Wondering if I should buy some. Seems like a big gamble.

Do the prizes usually get retired after the festival is over?
