Personally, I think it really depends on the guild. I've gotten involved in certain guilds before and really regretted joining, there was so much drama and inactivity. But my current guild is amazing and welcoming, so I think I'll stick around. Anyways, usually guilds with more experienced leaders/council members, with decent layouts and a high message board post count are the ones to look out for. ^_^

This has been mentioned several times, but personally I LOVE Gimp. It can be a little tricky to figure out, though. There are some other good open source art-type programs out there, and if you're looking for painting and sketching I like the program SAI.

Ooh, there are some great resource sites on this topic. :laughingsmiley: I'm not sure if anyone's posted this yet, but the site Brushking.com has a huge amount of brushes for photoshop. For GIMP brushes/textures, I like obsidiandawn.com.

As far as I know that's never happened, and I've been on Neo for a while. But who knows, maybe one day TNT will do it temporarily for a Halloween event, or something. o_O
