Thanks powie! Do you think getting a gbomb is fine? It's one use but it sure is strong. And I also just got a brynns legendary sword of smithing. For fire defense though, I can't think of any other than FTab. I really don't like fire reflectors. As to the sword of tawre, will that be better than kelpbeards trident?

Hmm, now that I think about it, a G-bomb would definitely be worth your money since you have some good constants already. And I'm behind you on the F-tab as well.

For KBT vs SoTawre, KBT has done less icons according to a lot of BDers, so yeah SoTawre would definitely be better in terms of reliability. :)

First of all, congrats on getting 20m! Many other players could only wish for such riches!

What I would do with 20m: buy investments. Look for items that I believe will grow in value, and stock up on them. :P

My pet's stats is:

Lvl: 51

HP: 134

Strength: LEGENDARY (106)

Defence: AMAZING (81)

Movement: AWESOME (61)

Intelligence: ULTIMATE GENIUS (1078)

 

I have already Sink and Burrow as abilities.

First things first, let's organize your weapons:

Freezer: 1 Heavy Blue Tunic

Healer: 1 Greater Healing Scroll (I assume you mistyped GHS?)

Defense: Sophies Magic Hat, Earthen Scorchstone

Constants: PCC, Flaming Blooble Potion

Dual Duty: HCC, Mask of Coltzan

Things you don't need to change: HBT, GHS, HCC, MOC, PCC

I say get rid of SMH, you have about the same amount of defense from MoC. Also get rid of the Flaming Blooble Potion if you have 10M to spend. I recommend any of the Elemental swords, but I believe SoTawre would be the best choice as you'll be getting rid of your water attacker.

Overall your build is quite solid, considering you have defenses for almost all types of attacks. The only flaw I can see after my changes are that you don't have a defense for fire attacks.

Also, make sure you max out your pet to League 9 with the following HSD: 292/125/125 (if you focus on 2P).

No one posted an update, so for everyone's information, the BD is now working again. Go kick some Pant Devil (or whoever's...) butt! :P

I think I finally may have been locked out of Habi today, but for what I don't know. I don't have very many items in my bag, though I had two Storage buildings which had reached the limit of most resources. And by what you're describing as far as Gem Lockout, no, I don't believe I have that happening, either. I've collected ALL the gems I got from pests and dead P3s, and I'm only at level 19, so no purple gems.

 

So what does this mean and what can be done?

Something similar to a lockout happened to me when I was level 21, but I just tried again 30 minutes later and it worked again. :) Try to wait a while before going back in.

It's really annoying how they're not even mentioning anything about it. :|

Resetting to level 1 is probably the best way to go about it. You'll have something to do, and since you get all your structures back anyway, shouldn't take too long to get back to 50. :)

I was just wondering, if you're on level 50 (you can't get any more eggs thru level ups) and you run out of nesters, what happens? Is it now impossible to create new p3s? :O

I personally am not excited since I don't want to spend any cash at all on NC. Haha! All the best to those who do spend, however. :)

A Honey Potion is also a really good bomb and its around 600K. If you have the nps to spend a G-Bomb would be a better choice. I know if I had the nps I would upgrade to a G-Bomb.

 

Also Thick SMoke Bombs are one use only so I would try and avoid them as it can get pretty expensive after a while.

 

A Greater Healing Scroll would be a good choice for healing. I'm not sure what the upgrades to that are though.

 

TDN's Battlepedia can be very helpful when choosing weapons.

Oh right, forgot about the Greater Healing Scroll! That's definitely the healer to get for your budget since the next one would be Bag of Healing Dust which would set you back about 8m, but don't quote me on that. (I think you'd rather the G-bomb than a 50% healer)

As others have stated, if you're going for efficiency, you may choose to morph your species to a Lenny or Elephante where 50% healers are cheaper. :)

I'll get to the point quickly. Whenever I put in a username then click "Check Availability" it says it is available. I then click "Next" and it then says it isn't available. Also, If I click Check Availability a second time rather than clicking next, it says it isn't available the second time either. Also, exiting, clearing cache, etc. doesn't work, so I'm thinking that whenever I click "Check Availability" somehow an account is instantly made with that username. Either I'm being followed by super-ninja's or Neopets is haxxed, since I've tried at least 10-15 times, to no avail.

 

Also, if circumvented via not bothering checking in the first place, I get as far as the email, then I put in an email, and it says "Error". No explanation, and it's a valid email too. No typo's either, I've checked.

 

Anyone else having the same problem? Because the only answers are either a massive influx of super ninjas, a bug in the scripting, or my comp/Neopets.com is hacked.

I've experienced this myself when creating pets, so let's eliminate the possibility that it's haxxed or that ninjas are following you shall we? :P

I believe this is just a case of error in database handling, really. To get to the point in solving your problem, just try another username that would be far less common. :) I know it's frustrating, but I'd like to believe that Neopets has not IP-banned you.

At the moment, I'm desperately seeking a pair of Brilliant Yellow Faerie Wings. Since nobody on Dress to Impress has one listed up for trade, I figured I should ask you folks for help. ^_^ Even if you don't have the wings up for trade, do you know of other places I could go to ask?

 

My account on Dress to Impress lists all the items I have for trade, as well as other items on my wish list. :)

Have you tried the NC Mall Boards? Whenever I wanted to find an owner of something and trade for it, I usually post a board there and sure enough someone would come along having the item. :) Except if it's really rare, of course.

This set should get you through most of your battles (1 Player). I really don't think shields counts for much in lower level battling, but feel free to spend on Leaf Shield or Sophies Magic Hat for some cheap shields.

All in all should cost you less than 10m. :)

When does using sneggs and altador strength potions seem more worthwhile then training at training schools in terms of cost?

 

Other than that, this guide provides decent information about negg training and such.

In terms of cost, sneggs and ASPs will NEVER be worthwhile cost-wise compared to the training schools.

However, the reason a lot of people resort to snegging/ASPs is that training just takes too long. In fact, when you've reached the higher levels the cost of a Snegg will probably be peanuts to you.

Snegging/ASPs is basically just a shortcut to get your pet to amazing stats. :) If you're in no rush to get your pet to big stats, then training is definitely for you!

Each time I try to update my UL, it says I have foul language. I even cleared my description then tried to only top 'hi' and it still didn't accept it. Is anyone else having this issue?

I got this before as well. I just basically copy pasted what I changed to notepad, refreshed the "Edit Profile" page, and it worked.

If it still doesn't work just try again about 10 minutes later. Should be fine.

That's pretty cool! So, you can volunteer to go on quests... however, you can reject faerie quest without any drawback, can't you?

As far as I know, the only drawback is that you won't be able to get any Faerie Quests for 10 minutes I believe? But seeing as people could go days without a quest anyway, the drawback is kind of minimal.

This must be a new update as I only saw it came out immediately after 12AM NST. It seems that when Delina, the Crafting Faerie, is in, you can actually voluntarily go on Crafting Quests now. See screenshot:

Advertise on the Trading Chat / Customization boards.

Some people buy these types of items (hard-to-sell, or HTS) and wait for the right buyer. Resellers will probably only offer around 200-300k, though, so it really depends how much you want to get rid of it.

May have more luck on the Customization boards if someone is a real fan of Haunted Woods.

i only have two battledome avatars left to obtain, henchmen and space faerie (luckily i already have a code for her), and i'm still working my way up to the henchmen on DoN (i hear you can't get the avatar if you're not up to them yet even if you defeat them)... so i need to prepare, i need to know what stats are required, with recommended weapons and a good strategy please :) any help is greatly appreciated
