Well...it's been a while since I logged into NP and I have forgotten my password (I also forgot my password here but I was able to retrieve it, hehe). I do not remember the e-mail I associated with my NP account, but I have tried validating with all of the e-mail addresses that I can think of. None of these work.

Would anyone be kind enough to help me figure out how to send an electronic request? The only options for users who are not logged in are "snail mail" and forms for abuse, legal, or parental consent. I am thinking that if I am able to provide them with my personal information that they might send the login details to a new e-mail address.

Are you absolutely sure it's a virus and not something else, such as an advertisement? When it talks..., have you tried opening Task Manager to find a cause of your phenomena?

 

Perhaps you could run a scan using MalwareBytes Anti-Malware? The free version doesn't provide real-time protection like avast! or Avira, but it has a high-detection rate.

Ah, does anyone here know the value of a Storm Amulet? It isn't available in the Shop Wizard and I don't see any in the Trading Post...

You know, I used to think that it depends on the time of day (or night), but I'm beginning to think it's random. There have been instances where I've obtained something at a certain time, then the next day, I don't receive anything.

 

According to the Forgotten Shore Map Guide by xx__sayitaintso__x, it is random.

 

However...

Good question - I'm not sure! Since I don't keep track of the times that certain prizes are won, I can't help with this question. As far as I know, the shore is random. However, there are some theories: 10 past midnight wins NP, 5 seconds past the minute wins better prizes, early morning wins better prizes ...

Does anyone else dislike the new Battledome? I know there are some improvements such as rewards, but overall it just feels like it wasn't worth the update.

 

Part of me feels this way because I considered the old version to be one of the last remnants of the 'old Neopets'.

This happened to me once as well. :( I got the avatar again after a while... Now I don't play with Von Roo anymore.

It could be a glitch, or, it could be a quirk with your Internet browser. Perhaps you should change your credentials just to be on the safe side.

I would consider that more of a disgusting item (I think that's one of the other boards). It makes me cringe thinking about actually eating that! :sick01:

This question may seem silly, but what does tdn have to do with the neopets team? I didn't think they were related at all, but could be mistaken.

 

I apologize for the confusion. When I made the comment about having problems with "the site as well", I referred to the Neopets site, not TDN.

Unfortunately, I'm having problems with the site as well. It keeps throwing "down for maintenance" errors at random intervals. I wonder if TNT is aware of the issue(s)?

I actually landed on the NC box in Qasalan Expellibox the other day! The game can be played once, every 8 hours.

I decided to wait for the avatar, because the last time I spun the Wheel, it only paid me back half of what I spent.

My first big purchase was in 2010 if I recall correctly. I bought Storm Amulet for a little over 2 million NP.

I currently have an unfinished Jeran gallery..., but I have collected (technically I am still collecting) Flaming Oven Gloves (an old Advent Calendar Battledome item). They make me feel all warm inside (no pun intended) because 1: they're retired, and 2: they (arguably) provide a decent amount of defense.

 

Aw, only one avatar? I guess the Jeran - Hero one.
