  1. If it's for everyone to claim, why do boards that post the code keep getting deleted and users silenced/frozen for it...?

I just think it's inappropriate to detract from the value of others' earnings by sharing what is supposed to be private. The code was e-mailed - not posted by TNT on facebook, not given on the TNT message boards, not mentioned in the news... I don't know what makes you think the actual code should be made public.

  2. Other help sites posted the code too, and I'm sure it's been getting out on neopets site itself, so it's not any fault of TDN's. It's TNT's fault for not making a one-use code for everyone who played TK. They sure did make it sound like they were going to since they emailed everyone exclusively.

It doesn't make it any more okay that other sites posted it as well... and no, the code is hardly being posted on the Neoboards at all. Granted, the prizes aren't that spectacular, but it's the principle that these sites shouldn't be spreading around codes that aren't meant for everyone. All they had to do was say "If you played TK, check your FB e-mail inbox for your prize code." The only reason I singled out TDN is because this is the only help site I have an account on. Anything for page views, I guess.

  3. I'd go for the avatar... I have most of my dreamies as it is (woo! :rolleyes_anim: ), and not just anyone can get the Buzzin' av. No level of game/RS skill can achieve it, and being terrible at both, I'd like to have a somewhat rare avatar that they can't immediately have.

  4. I'm pretty sure they really only even notice if you're obviously running shops on all of the accounts linked to one e-mail, constantly sending items to your main from a bunch of other accounts, playing games on all of your accounts and sending them to your main, etc. All of my accounts have a different e-mail in case of CGing, and I've been fine. I even re-discovered an old account and froze a newer one and nothing came of it. ^_^ I think you're fine.

  5. I am sooo confused right now :eh:

TNT infected everyone's pets with the disease "Scourgies" for the day.

Temporary cures can be found at the hospital: http://www.neopets.com/hospital.phtml

You can use any cure on any sick pet, but you cannot cure your own pet. Someone else must cure it for you.

Curing pets with the Blazing Hot Soup increases your chance of being randomly awarded the "Blazingly Hot Soup Background." So far, that is the only known prize. The prank (hopefully) ends at midnight NST.

Also: the "disease" returns every 20-30 minutes, so you can be cured/cure others multiple times

  6. I'm reluctant to click your website because I don't know where it leads to. However, I will say that I find piñata users far more disrespectful to TNT than TNT is to its users. Nobody forces you (I hope) to play Neo, and the site is free. There are clearly established rules that are enforced 24/7 and ample security measures are taken to protect your identity. What else are you hoping for?

  7. I loooove the wearables :wub_anim:

  8. Wait what? :eh: I'm going to sound old for saying this, but it used to be referred to as GUMPing. This was...4 or 5 years ago, when the trend really began to skyrocket. People used to do it in general, but during the first few Altador Cups (especially the second) GUMPing was a form of taunting used by some of the more confident and rude teams/players. Basically, you would degrade a nation's pet to a green uni. For example, if you were playing Krawk Island, you would paint a pet pirate and then GUMP it. Most often the teams to do this were DC and KI (by that I mean that they would GUMP other teams). In order to make it a taunting event, people would make boards showing off their (using the same example, pirate) pet. When enough people gathered, they would GUMP it in front of all the witnesses. When DC and KI played eachother, the GUMPing boards were EVERYWHERE. It was crazy. What did they get out of it? I'm not sure. It was a waste of time and a waste of neopoints.

Because of this, GUMPing has become a more widely known way of changing the species of a pet.

/End lesson on history of the GUMP.

That was during my 3-year hiatus, so I missed all of that completely. I was just reiterating the little history lesson I got from someone else.

  9. If your computer can handle it, you should really consider playing Habitarium and Key Quest :) I do my dailies, play Habi, and occasionally sell an item over 10k in my shop... with the occasional game. I don't make millions off of it, but I make enough to get what i want in a reasonable amount of time.

  10. GUP stands for Green Uni Morphing Potion. (idk why it's not GUMPing). Users who thought it was unfair of others to pound valuable pets would interrupt pound transfers (before the safe transfers existed) and then use a green uni MP on them, since it was the cheapest at the time. Then they'd re-pound them. It was a really rude thing to do.

The cheapest MPs now are red and yellow ogrin, but the term GUPing has stuck

since lutaris can't be transferred, i have to morph him before sending him to a side

  11. Did you get all your neopets from doing that?

CaliSnac zapped Chomby and I painted him baby, Narc zapped lutari and I painted him disco, Uhula is being zapped now but I'm keeping her (prob morphing/painting into an island bruce), and wixsel was zapped for many months before i morphed/painted her into a faerie tonu.

I actually managed to adopt out quite a few labbed pets, so it worked out ok. I'm considering GUPing my lutari and transferring him since i dont care for him but need his petpage still. Then i'll have room to zap another pet on my main.

  12. I like the bright colors together... I think they could have done something better with the background, though. It's pretty but I don't see why it's any better than a lot of other lookups out there. I can understand why you wouldn't agree with them winning the spotlight.

  13. Invisible is the most pointless color ever. Now that they have transparent, they should just get rid of invisible.

I agree on the Plushie pets that are essentially a basic pet with a few stitchmarks, like the moehog, etc.

I'd also like to see the faerie pets updated... the faerie acara is a yellow acara with some tiny pink wings stuck to it. It looks horribly cheap.

I'd also like to seem some of the more plain Pirate pets be redrawn ^_^

  14. Ooh! I've been lurking in the habi chat recently! Welcome to the forums! I started playing habitarium for DD and have reached level 34. How long have you been playing?

I've been playing for a few weeks now, I'm about to level up again... I'll be at level 41 :graduated:
