My favourite UC is mutant hissi. It took me a long time before I decided to convert my own mutant hissi, over a year. I did it because i wanted to put a background for my pet. Now I kind of regret it though, since they are so rare now. And other than backgrounds, I really don't like customization. I would never put cloths on my real pets, and I wouldn't do it to my virtual pets either!

Old Maraqua would definitely be cool, Maraqua is my team. But I don't see how they could ever make them look any different from the regular maraqua team. And also, now that you guys mention it, why isn't there a neopia central team? Seems kind of basic and obvious to have one doesn't it?

The question that has had philosophers scratching their heads for centuries... dogs or cats?

I am a dog person. Dogs are loyal, obedient (if you train them correctly) and so much more fun to play with. I can just go in the backyard with my dog and chase her around and she'll chase me back. Cats would never do that. They'll just give you a look of disdain and go back to napping in the sun. Cats are moody, they are almost impossible to play with, and all they can think about is food. You could never go for a jog in the morning with a cat. And cats scratch you sometimes. Without a shadow of a doubt, dogs are the better option. What do you think?

I remember in the good old days when plots were very rare and special occasions. It surprised me when I came back to neopets that plots just ran one after the other. I wouldn't mind a break so I can do other stuff, like try to get game avatars. Call me old fashioned :P

Wow i am so jealous of all of you i've never won the 20k and i tried it every day for a good year. I've stopped now because i was so frustrated with it. All i wanted really was the avatar.

I find it very annoying in movies when they "kill off" a character, but then he inexplicably comes back from the dead and either gets the girl if he is a good guy, or causes havoc if he is a bad guy. I like my characters to stay dead when they die.

I don't spin any of them. I've already got all the avatars so I don't really have a reason to spin them anymore. I'm not a gambler. But have any of you tried the high roller wheel yet? I've done it once and got a nerkmid, which I sold for a profit. However I'm scared of spinning it again. 100k is a lot to lose. But I do want the avatar. Such a dilemma. What do you guys think of that wheel?

But seriously, there shouldn't be a certain time in your life when you need to "quit" something that you enjoy doing. Plenty of people still play mario games and stuff like that when they are in their 50s, so what's so different with neopets?

I quit a few years ago because I got bored, but now I'm back into it because I don't think it's boring anymore. Either way, there are no rules as to when you should and shouldn't play neopets.

Everyone is saying that the 5 year old "didn't know what she was doing", and that she didn't know what was right and wrong. When I was 5 years old, I knew that killing someone was wrong. This 5 year obviously knew that baby in water equals death. Of course, I don't think she should go to adult jail, but she should go through intense psychoanalysis for many many year, and put into foster care until they can figure out if it is the parent's fault that this happened. As for the 5th grader, of course, juvie. For the 15 year old, she should be in juvie until she turns 18, than jail. I don't believe in jail for life though. 25 years, and then released with many restrictions. She should also go through with psychotherapy to figure out why she did this. But jail for life is stupid, it is incredibly expensive for tax payers to keep someone in jail for their entire life, and it really isn't necessary. eventually, they will learn their lesson, probably be put on drugs or go through lots psychotherapy. I believe anyone can feel remorse and be given a second chance for a normal life.

Wow, I have never heard of oldneo, but that sounds amazing! I was so sad when they converted the neopets. I was really reluctant to convert my mutant hissi and I didn't do it until a year after the converted neopets came out. I would love to have a code and check it out, if you don't mind? PM me one please :)

I never even tried for the chocolate factory avatar yet. I really hate restocking. And what are autobuyers? I never heard of that before.

I got Turmy a few years ago I think. I'd follow a guide for when Turmy is awake, so I would try every day. Even going every day it took me quite a while to get it though.

I always get ads for Ancestry.ca. Some site to find who your ancestors were I guesss. I'm pretty sure kids aren't interested in that. And we all say that Neopets is a kid's site, but it was originally made for college kids. And we all know that a lot of adults play it. Most of the people on the neoboards are adults, or older teenagers. Anyway, like everyone else, I just lurk. Posting just isn't worth it on the neoboards.

I'm 20 years old and still playing. I don't know if you guys consider that as "adult" enough. Anyway, I probably continue playing for a long time. There's no shame in playing neopets. it's entertaining, and since I don't have any other gaming console other than my computer, coupled with the fact that I love games, neopets is great for me. And free! There are a lot of adults who play neopets (evidently) so you shouldn't feel bad about it. I don't!

Eek! That really sucks! I luckily never got hit by Boochi, but I always keep my lab pet as my active pet just in case. Maybe you should try doing that? I don't know if you lab any pets but just a suggestion! Though hopefully after two Boochi hits, you'd be done for good. But I guess you never know!

Yes, I had the same questions. It had nothing to do with the extra pet and info before everyone else. Anyway, I think Neopets is going a little two far with this real money paying. I remember the days when you couldn't buy anything with money. I'm just scared that this will lead to giving very unfair advantages to some neopet users. Call me old fashion.

I do think being able to own a 5th pet is a good idea though, a lot of people have way more than 4 pets. But to pay for it with real money... i don't know.

I wouldn't have a problem with it, but TNT might, because they wouldn't make money out of the person who go the SF code. But for someone like me, who lives in Canada, I would need someone to give me an SF code because I cannot buy neopet items here. And it would simply be a kindness to give the item back to the person, even if they didn't ask for it. But yes, like it was said earlier, it is all gray area.

I didn't get a fountain faerie quest during this round of ruined faerie thing, but I did get a fountain faerie quest a couple years ago, which was AMAZING. I painted my Eyrie Maraquan, and my hissi was already mutant like I wanted it to be, and I don't want any other pets, so if I got a FFQ I would probably just paint a buzz to get the avatar, and then give the buzz to someone. Which would be great, because not a lot of people have that avatar. Anyway, congrats to everyone who did get a FFQ quest!

I might adopt one. My current lab pet hasn't changed colours in a while, it is pretty discouraging, so I might just pound him and get a new one. Anyway, if I zap them and they turn into a nice colour, someone would definitely adopt them.

A ghost threatened to eat my neopets :( I'm glad that that would actually never happen.

Okay, so concerning the stock market, you should only buy stocks from your primary account, buying from a second account is cheating, and you risk being frozen. So just keep your buying to one account. Also, it is smarter to buy stocks from different companies, it gives you a better chance of having your stocks rise. You can however buy more than 1000 shares in one company once you have bought stocks in multiple companies.

You can trade objects and neopoints and buy from your shops though, that is perfectly fine.

As for buying objects, it really depends. Paint brushes are really easy to resell because they are so popular, but if you don't have enough neopoints for that, you can restock. I don't know much about that though, I'm not much of a restocker.
