I know it has been quite a while now, but I have another suggestion. ;)
The image in your sig looks almost like a techo or a chomby (the nose looks kind of reptilian... do you see it?). If you can draw a picture just like it, shorten the arms a bit, and add a tail sticking up, I think it would look quite a bit like a techno or chomby. :)
You could probably do a hissi with a face like that too. Couldn't be too hard to draw a snakey thing. hehe

I will let other people answer most of those questions, as I have seen people do things but do not know if there are exceptions and whatnot.
The off-topic forum is under the Talk, Play, and Have Fun Section. General Chat "Anything not related to Neopets or TDN should go here."

All pets don't stay the same, do they? I thought I heard somewhere that some pets revert if you transfer them, like boris or lutaris (or whatever those seal looking things are).
It also isn't that different from pets losing their fishing skills when transferred. I actually forgot about that rule when I lent my fishing pet yesterday... Skill 85, gone! And I hadn't gotten the avie yet! *facepalm*

Blurred vision is a nuisance. Waiting for the healing springs, personally.
I am one of those who got the imposter apple more than once before the avie came out. I do hope that the odds have not changed! Regardless, I wouldn't be surprised if I never get another one!
-
Never thought to zoom the page for that plot step. I already completed the plot, but it is a good idea that is sure to help people!
-
I am all for long plots. Not really a problem.
However, this one has messed up Faerie Land! I miss the WoE, Healing Springs, and sad blue plushie. Besides, I want to get back to my quest for the Faerie Bubbles avie!
-
Good ones, WintAnak! I think I would rewrite the last one as "Are you really speckled or is that just a skin condition?" or something though. "Zits" is such an ugly word! hehe

Where is all this "wait a year" stuff coming from? TNT obviously has an extensive staff of graphics people and writers to handle the continuous updates and events (advent calendar, pet days, GMC, DD, etc etc).
Why would the plot take an entire year to create if they did it ahead of time while taking considerably less time to do it on the fly? That makes no sense whatsoever. Obviously the site would not use ALL of its resources on a single plot, so we would not have zero activities for a year. Second, why would it take a year to create a plot that can be created week to week? If it takes X amount of time to finish the plot as it goes along, it would likely take X amount of time to finish it all at once. There is little reason to assume otherwise.
Not that I am arguing for full completion before the launch. I just do not find the "no activities for a year" or for 6 months to be a reasonable assumption.

hehehe... "I can't hear you. Your robe's too loud!" That is the best thus far.
As for adding my own insult, my wit seems to have dried up for the moment. ;)

This picture won 2nd place! Congrats Annie! :)

Thanks for answering, Devil's. :)
Maybe you could adopt some random pet from the pound and draw it? A lenny or something probably wouldn't be too hard. How are you at drawing birds? ;)
-
I used the cheap air ring to get mine. :)
-
It does involve some luck, Maria. Getting three that work together in a single round is luck. Sometimes one of the higher ones (but not super high) seems to put you over at random too and ends the round.
-
That is sad, Summer. Sorry you lost your account, but you can rebuild. Just leave for a month or something until you calm down about it again... you know? :(
And I agree with Jesse... TNT's customer service skills are very much lacking.

hehehe... Nice! Quite amusing. You did a good job! :)

Secre, my BD pet has blurred vision too, coincidentally! What a pain! My other best pet had ugga-ugga, and I didnt want to heal that either until the healing springs came back.
So I just used my lab rat, which has atrocious stats. I dealt some damage and got the achievements anyway.
-
Savamal, I didnt bother completely healing mine either. Not much point, as Oblivion usually wins in one turn, two tops.
I used to have a zillion healing potions in my SDB too. Somehow they all disappeared between the last BD step and this one. I know I didn't use them all, but neopets has a strange way of making things disappear.

The win 3 times in a row too me the least amount of time by far. You must have gotten lucky to get the Over 9000 so fast. It seems like that is the one everyone has trouble with.
Dunno about the plot pts. I would wager no, but I have no idea really.
-
I just got the achievement I missed last time and stopped fighting him. I may go back to it though, since I got all the puzzle achievements.
-
I just noticed that I actually got 103 when I got the achievement. Interesting how these things happen.
I had about the same results as you, Savamal, but "Didn't your mother ever teach you it's rude to vaporize people?" didn't seem to increase at all usually. I would say it was one of the lowest for me.

You have earned an achievement for completing a hidden task!
Over 9000
Head on over to your Fearless Deeds to admire your greatness.
I found that Nox, Edna, Study with the Faeries, Magic skills stink, and the money tree one were all decent for getting the Over 9000 achievement. It takes some luck though.
-
I actually figured out all of that for myself in the process of trying to get the Over 9000 achievement. It is still crazy hard for some reason.
-
Seriously! Oblivion is a really harsh opponent. My BD pet is sick with blurred vision too, and I am not healing her until the healing springs is open again!
-
Apparently you can get this achievement from the Shattered Plain step:
Medium Rare Use a weapon that has a medium rarity (r45 to r50). Trumpet of Blasting and Sparkshooter both work.
Oh, and I got my missing oblivion achievement too! :D

Well, I certainly meant no offense. When I think of draiks, I think of wings, big ears, and a tail. Without the wings in particular, I wouldn't have guessed a draik. ;)
Though to be honest, a draik is reptilian as well. I just didn't think of it. I do hope I didn't upset you, as I like your work.
