Yeah I'm pretty glad that they did do that. Too much stuff all at the same time wouldn't be any fun. This way the plot will last a little bit longer too. I wouldn't be surprised if it just ran straight through the advent calendar though because thats pretty much a one-click daily anyway, right? I wonder how much longer this plot will go on...

I know what you mean. I'll go back on in the morning and they'll all be asleep and hungry to the max, but did no work so I can't afford food. It's rather frustrating. Is there a way to sell stuff back to the shops or not? That would make things a bit easier.

I finally got mine working. I tried choosing a different starting zone and that seemed to set things straight. For some reason the tutorial never started up before and it was just showing the background and p3s not doing anything. Now I see what you mean with there being not much to do though but it's pretty amusing to watch for a while.

Yes the NC Mall also sells tokens for neocash, but they wouldn't have the faerie ixi and electric lupe. They usually have special ones though that you can only get there.

Well the game still says it's in beta so they're probably working on improving it. Haha I've been avoiding facebook games like the plague. If this is Neopets version of something like that, well then I've got mixed feeling on it... I tried to play Habitrarium once but I really didn't understand it.

Yeah they did stop making the plushies. Even in stores where I live it was hard to find them because people would steal the codes off of them :sad01_anim: I agree with Batman though (nice name by the way haha) I've had lots of luck finding codes on ebay. Some people sell just the codes and no plushie and others sell just plushies without codes so be careful with what you bid on if you do that.

Also, as a side note, I've seen an ad once or twice on neopets saying that if yo redeem a code in December you'll get bonus neopoints or something like that. Good luck finding the ones you want!

That makes sense. They really do seem to enjoy the crazy ideas some of us come up with..but it's such torture!

That is a good question. I think they'll be fine though...I mean, TNT wouldn't just kill off all of the faeries, right? :crying: I'm still wondering what's going to happen to Faerieland in general though. The fact that it's still up I guess means that it's not going to just be destroyed forever but I wonder if it's going to float back up at the end of the plot or if it's just going to be smushed into the ground now forever.

I did something similar -one of my pets was once zapped into a green lutari and I thought that it was something common so I just kept zapping it. I kicked myself for it when I actually got another species change the next day and I found out you actually cant get them...

I wish they would bring back neopets mobile, in some form or another (as an app atleast, or something like that). I never got to experience it when it was out before. I didn't hear about it until after it was taken down.

I have trouble accepting that xandra would be behind this whole thing. An accomplice, perhaps, but the mastermind? nah...

I think I might agree with this theory. She's just too cute to be entirely evil...that and she seems to not really know what's going on. Maybe she's just clumsy.

Do you happen to have a petpet in your inventory? if so, that may be the culprit.

Do petpets eat items? I've never heard of that happening before.

*goes to buy more codestones and notices the super even more inflated prices* Geez each battle it's just getting worse. Codestones, weapons, potions...prices of EVERYTHING is rediculous now. Know what I just realised? This kind of -is- a NP sink plot, it just happens to be more entertaining than the last one.

I train my Zafara at the Mystery Island Training School and have gotten bonuses a few times on different stats (usually +2 or +3) but I train on a pretty consistant basis. Supposedly it is random but I seem to have more luck when I train up only one stat at a time to max before I need to move onto another or level him up.

It would be a good idea to actually use the PB. You would've expected it to happen before Transparent, Woodland, Magma, and Relic were released.

 

But at this rate, it won't happen, since the only remenants of Lutari Island is the Lutari themselves.

 

For one thing, I'd actually make it worth 20 mil. Why would you spend 20 mil for something that does nothing?

That's the problem I have with a lot of in game items. I don't understand why they make some things that just have no purpose. Also, didn't there used to be a stone paint brush that they made useless? ...and then they released relic, which to me basically seems like a rehashed idea.

Heh, considering the quality (or lack thereof) in Hanso's drawing, we might very well be looking for the wrong artefact. xD Let's just hope we find somebody to unleash our wrath on soon...

This is a really good point. What were the artifacts so far? All I remember is the mirror and I think another was an orb, right? So there must be another, I bet that's the one that caused this to happen. Hanso said there was a bright light when he passed out, too, so maybe it did that. I'm going to go nuts if the other artifact really is the magical grundo plushie :laughingsmiley:

I'd love to see the lutari paintbrush become usable. It doesn't make any sense for it to be as expensive as it is if you can't even use it :/ I like when paintbrushes actually add something to the pet like a clothing set rather than just changing the color like most of the new ones do.

For some reason the link in brightvale about the door isn't showing up for me...I wonder why that is? :/ I can't move on with the plot until I figure out why.

I capped all of them and fought as much as I could. I was also trying for the random battle faerie avatar too though because a lot of people have been getting it with battling so much. No luck for me there though.

Yeah that is really strange they stopped mid-teir like this. *crosses fingers* maybe codestone prices will drop a little bit, for now...

Ok maybe I'm just having a dumb moment but I can't seem to find the smiley. Or does it not show up in the low resolution version of the game?

I've got a few paintbrushes: Golden Paint Brush (150k), Green Paint Brush (70k), and Electric Petpet Paint Brush (130k).

I also have a HTS set of mystery island furniture from prize codes: Mystery Island Round Table (estimated price: 550k, r101) and Mystery Island Bowl (estimated price 60k, r101) and I'm asking around 600k for both but will definately go lower just to be rid of them and I don't mind separating them. The estimated prices are according to jellyneo because I couldn't find the table priced anywhere else and the lowest I ever saw the bowl for in shops was 68k.

So I was just doing my dailies and had a visit to the money tree when I found a load of scamanders (worth roughly 5mil, I think) and upon googling the user (Scamander-in-chief) I found this: "Ok so someone in my guild told me that scamander-in-chief is a member of TNT and that he put out Scamanders in the money tree during or around the lost desert plot…" So could they have to do with this plot or was this person wrong? I also heard that you will never get one no matter how fast you click, so I don't know.
