There's loads of theories reguarding the scientific explanation of homosexuality. I'm usualy very sceptical though, most of the ones I have read seem to be mainly unfounded and possibly homophobic.

An interesting one is 'the human zoo' which explores along with many other subjects the existence of homosexuality amongst captive animals. Though it's an interesting theory philisophicly. There's very little substancial proof. Still a good read.

Well. Maybe god is awesome and understands that the overpopulation of the earth is a severe issue. Could be his way of solving it? (not that I believe that)

I think the idea of popularity is a marketing prop, personaly. Popularity is sold through television, commercials, films as this asspiration of children and teenagers everywhere. So children and teenagers everywhere aspire to be popular. And the only version of a 'popular kid' which is shown through mass media is one which fits the catagory of whatever products are being sold, in this case 'style'. A popular kid is expected to be stylish and like popular music and popular trends, so people try to reflect this image by buying popular fashion, and listening to popular radio stations, watching shows, etc...

'popular kids' is another effective way marketing companies, advertisers and producers have strongly segregated a gamble free target audience.

But this same idea is applied to most 'sub cultures'. Particularly through highschool aged children.

I was raised christian. But if anything it is BECAUSE of this that I voted yes.

I know. It's really wierd. None of the text in that section is linked. And there are bits of the forum all over the place, like up at the neopets banner ad theres the welcome message from it. It's so annoying. I wish they'd fix it for me already.

Books are still better though :P. If you have an essay to do, my best advice is to go to your local university, spend an hour in their thesis library reading whatever's relevent, then gather the cites at the back of the books and study those as well.

For primary/junior school internet and wikipedia are fine. But when you get to about year/grade 9 or 10 some teachers start marking you down for only using internet, and using wikipedia.

If marriage was entirely a religeos ceremony, which was not acknowledged by the state government and seperate institutions i would have said not sure.

but marriage being largely a modern ceremony, representing the declaration of love and a legaly acknowledged relationship, I think it's absolutely appauling so many governments (not churches) are still maintaining the outdated homophobic views they do.

So after comming back to neopets recently I've tried to leav my old guild. The layout of the guild is all over the place, I think perhaps some of the coding is corrpt. No one in the guild is still active. And the leave guildd button has no hyperlink. Just like regular text. I've neomailed the neopets staff for help a couple of times in the last few weeks, but still have no response. Is there any other way to leave this guild?

Haha! I gotta be doing something wrong. I tried this for four hours and got nothing. Maybe the game hates me... :guiltysmiley:

I still had an level 21 shop. So it wasn't so bad. 10 plays at christmas was awesome!!!

So last year, 'i faught the law and the, law won." And My mum moved us over to England from Australia my home :(.

But I've saved up and I'm comming home to live with my dad (yay friends).

I don't have a job, or go to school. So I've been staying at home all day waiting for my passport to arrive.

Which Is why I started playing neopets again.

BUT

I get on my neopets account to discover ACTUALLY, I gave away all my neopoints and Items when I stopped playing last year!!!

For basic information on a topic you don't know much about it can be great! But as for being legitimate reference material for any highschool, college or university exam or essay, anyone can edit the information on there. So you never know the bias of the person writting it is. I usualy use it to get an idea of what to study. :P
