I got it about a week or so after I started playing again. No avatar for Fortune yet, however!

Don't forget about tumblr! Though you'd have to advertise it, I don't think there's much in the way of communities there (but I could be wrong)

Wow! Lots of you seem to make a killing in games. Sadly, my computer is very messed up and alot of the flash games randomly crash, so I only play a few games. There's nothing worse than earning near 1000 NP in game score and the browser crashing before you can hit "send score". Even if it didn't, though, my ADD kicks in and I can't play the same game for too long. Kiko Match falls to this far too often.

 

It looks like at the rate I'm going I can earn about 500k a month, but alot of that is from various gambles.

I took a look around and couldn't find a topic like this exactly. I know there are "guides" and such floating around various websites, but I want to know how you guys made your first million, and how long it took? I've never had more than 400K at one time (which is also where i'm at right now), but basically all I do for income is play games, very lightly play the stock market and sell off whatever items I happen across.

I do the few games I can actually play (my computer's extremely old/messed up, so the browser crashes on a -bunch- of games), then usually blow (or gain) a few hundred or thousand NP on gambling. I always fill up my 5 Scratchies for the day and more often then not make a big profit. After I'm happy with the amount I made, I'll toss it into the bank.

 

I play the stock market, very casually.

 

My goals at this point are:

 

- make my first million. I've only been up to 500,000 at one time in NP

 

- continue to fill up my aquatic life gallery, it's only just started out so far

 

- and, ultimately, get a Maraquan PB for my Grarrl

I played through KOTOR2 again about four months ago. Love it, despite it's somewhat funky combat system. I cannot wait for the Old Republic MMO to come out, I have a feeling it's going to be great!

 

I also love Jedi Academy, even though I suck at playing it online, it's still a blast.

While on the subject of The Money Tree, mr. Scamander-In-Chief just donated about 30 Scamanders to the money tree. I very stupidly tried to click lazily, assuming they were cheap petpets. I don't really know enough about Neopets yet to know what's a must grab or not. I didn't get one :(

 

EDIT: Live and learn. I quickly researched and learned that, I guess, it's more of a joke than anything because supposedly "nobody" actually gets them. Is there truth to this?

I don't know how you people make so much money so fast! It's been about a month and I only have 300,000 NP!

How on Earth does freezing your account protect you, Eevee?

 

I've been frozen once, as I've said before, for having a side account to make extra cash and what not. ... At least, that's what I -think- I got frozen for. The side account never got frozen, so who knows.

Everybody has plenty of days that seem to just never go right. Well, forget about that! Who here has had some streaks of GOOD luck? Finding a ridiculously good deal on the shop wizard, finding something very worthwhile on a random event, etc?

 

I just had a spot of my own. After depositing all my NP into the bank, I went to the Money Tree for the heck of it. I grabbed the first thing I saw, which happened to be 5 NP.

 

So, I took the 5 NP and went to the Scorchy Slots, where I instantly won 30 NP with a hold, that came up twice. After playing the slots for about 2 minutes, I had 300 NP. I decided to stop, as I needed an excuse to get off the site and go to bed, I went to the Jub Jub Blackjack table and bet my 300. Sure enough, I wound up with 600. "Okay, time to end this", I thought, and went for a scratchcard. Race to Riches, and, low and behold, I won 10,000. I decided that was more than a good enough place to stop, and put it into the bank. I just found the fact that I went from 5 np to 10,000 NP in about 10 minutes, all while trying to get rid of the cash! :laughingsmiley:

I was a former (and once again current) avid Neopets player about 5-6 years ago. I had a Strawberry Jetsam, Fire Grarrl and Mutant Buzz, along with a Mutant Plathydon. Then, my account got frozen. I was guilty of having a dual account for extra NP generation on the side, but I'm not sure that was the reason because that account never got frozen.

 

Either way, I gave it up for years and have just decided to get back on a week or so ago. Also, I never really had any sort of goal on Neopets, but now I'm devoted to collecting as many aquatic creatures (petpets, fish, what have you) and putting them into my gallery. It's ALOT more fun when you're working at something.

 

My old home, Neopetropolis, seems to have crumbled a long while ago, so I'm looking to make a new slew of friends here and over at PPT. Looking forward to meeting you all!
