Hi! I've played and beaten it on both systems because I'm such an Okami nerd. The only bad thing about the Wii version is that the Fleetfoot move was completely broken. Other than that, it's just as good as it was on the PS2.
And I agree, Okami's my favorite game too. I love Ammy. :)
