On the trades doesn't 160k np actually show up as 160,000? You can clearly see the difference :P

This has been something I've wondered about for a long time, whenever you log into the forums, there is page that says "Please wait while we transfer you..." and then there is a little button at the bottom that says "click here if you do not wish to wait".

This is completely random, but how many people actually press that button? :P

And does anyone know if it actually does save time?

I reached my goal rank of Level 17 this year ^^

Haven't been able to play as much as I wanted to :(

But I hope to make it to at least rank 17 by the end of the cup.

So... just making sure: if i play Slushie Slinger for instance, and i get a score of 300+ it counts for my team and my rank. Now, if i get 200+ it counts for my achievement but not for team and rank. Right?

 

Sooo...Does it matter if i play SS, get to 300 and end game to fit more games in, or does a higher score count more for the team? :S

First of all, yes, that is what the achievement says, and I believe the minimum score for slushie slinger to count towards your rank is 285.

Next, it would count more toward your rank if you did that, however it wouldn't help out your team as much. It depends on what you care about more; your own prizes or your team winning the match. For example, playing 2 games of Slushie Slinger with scores of 300 would help you out more, but playing one game of 650 would help your team out. It all depends on what you can do faster, and what your preferences are. (By the way, in case you didn't know, The Daily Neopets has their own Rank Calculator here ;) )

This is impossible!!! But good luck! SOSD is the easiest game I think so it shouldnt be as hard as the same challenge only with YB....now THAT would be hard.

Playing with YYB to get to all-star is what people do anyway.

Well, it only takes me about 5-6 seconds if I score all 5 goals consecutively.

I calculated giving 3 seconds for sending score and restart so for me 750 games will only

take about 100 minutes. An hour and forty minutes isn't too bad.

Oh right, I just said 3 as a formality because of all the other games.

Hey, as some of you may know, I am one of the Altador Cup coverage team here at the Daily Neopets.

As an avid player of the Altador Cup, I wanted to give everyone who is willing to accept, a challenge

for this year's cup. It won't be easy, and it will take lots of determination, dedication and sleep deprivation. :P

Here's the challenge: Get to Rank All-star or above, while playing ONLY Shootout Showdown.

It's probably been done before, however I definately want to try, and I want to see if other people

wanted to try as well.

Here are some quick facts:

• You'll need to play 24,000 games of SoSD to reach All-star
  
• That's only about 750 games per day, if you play every single day of the Altador Cup.
  
• If you score approximately 1000 points for each game, that's 750,000 points for your
  team each day, just from you! That's massive!
  
• You must score at least 650 points each game for it to count towards your rank.
  

Now just remember, once you start this, it will be hard to go back. It will be difficult

to make it to all-star if you quit playing SoSD when the cup is more than half done. Just stick with it,

be ready and have fun.

Judging by the topic title, I'd say it's over

During the cup, you can send your scores 3 times for neopoints.

The other times you won't get neopoints, but you'll still be helping your team to victory. b)

In my opinion Moltara has too much hype about them.

I'm not saying they can't do good, I'm just saying they most likely will not win until they get some experience. b)

The Top Tier will probably include Shenkuu, Lost Desert and Kreludor. I'm not really sure about Maraqua or Darigan Citadel. Either of these teams could be in the top tier, however they could also both fall like they have before.

I don't see KI as a huge threat anymore.

I love the boards, it's basically the only thing I do on neopets, besides the altador cup.
