I'm kinda dissapointed that that ghost zafara has not been involved.

Zafara's are always under-appreciated ;p

just checked all the coconuts (and yes im sure I checked them all, there are only actually 4 coconut pages if you look at the source) and there is no hidden comments or new text in any of those pages.

at this point, i really don't even care about a prize.

I just hate investing so much time and effort into something to just give up on it.

But I would MUCH rather be playing Final Fantasy 12 right now then just sitting here waiting for more clues.

But I did go back and enter everything, "braintree", "edna", all the staff members, but cant get it.

I was hoping it would be obvious, like "something" or "ian" or a blue code...

yeah, i tried all those too, even all my codes, and everyone's name I could think of along the plot, and every battle move we have, and .... well everything I could think of and still just the same error message.

I have been working on what I think is #4.

Is it the secret, commented-out form on the main plot page?

I have been trying submitting every work I can think of to that form, and it just keeps telling me:

Is the keyword case sensitive?

it would be nice if 6 clues were released, but even 5 clues is tolerable... I have already checked more than that myself, so it would not be beyond the realm of possibility... but I would really rather have 6 clues myself.

How do we know there's a 4, anyways? Did an admin say so?

nope, the cookies prevent just back/forward navigation of the chia fight, you have to click them seperate each time.

i *think* i found the puzzle that reveals clue #4, but I cannot be positive, and I need some sort of clues to be able to solve it anyhow, so not till Sam give us more or someone discovers the secret and shares it...

I typed in everything that I can think of, so now im going to get some dinner and wait till the next open discussion.

I don't know, but I think it is a little unfair for those who have different time zones and I mean it's Saturday! Everyone is out with their families or friends...

The 2nd (and 3rd) clue is somewhere on the plot pages, that had not actually been used in the plot up to that point. Unless you look and read everything very carefully, you are probably going to overlook both of them, as they are not easy to see. Look for little things that are different, or things that have changed since the start of part6.

I have found 2 in total..and I don't even know where to look for the rest!!!

I wish i could post hints, but till Sam decides to repost his hints, im afraid to say anything, as he only posted them in the discussion board which has now been taken offline and hidden till the next open discussion.

with as much freedom as they gave us in the open discussion, im afraid at what I can say here...

it sucks that you missed it and will miss the 2nd one, perhaps you can get a friend to goto the 2nd discussion and then copy/paste the discussion log into an email for you or something.

Sam was in there with us and released 2 of the battle clues while we were frantically debating back and forth. Quite fun actually.

But yeah, we are now up to four battle clues available, but i don't know if anyone has figured out the 4th one.

I had t oskip the discussion and i cant go to the next one!!!

well, discussion one is closed, now we have 2 1/2 hours to wait till the next one opens...

I wonder if any more clues will be released by then.

perhaps, but usually the actual submit button is not used in forms like this, but it very well could be... did not try yet... but the part just before that said "to enter something" and would be a textbox, so i was guessing that that would be the critical form value it was looking for.

i still cant find clue 3, i have been back through the ENTIRE plot, clicked on everything again, checked the source code for comments everywhere, and I do not see anything else new.

incase you dont know anything about HTML... the clue on the frontpage of the plot in comments is a commented out form, so to use it you need to directly edit the URL, simmilar to this:

but there does not seem to be any clue as to what you are suppose to type as your keyword.

Oh, about the white code:

on the page with the hint just after the murder mystery in part 6 there is this code:

<b><color=red>********</b></color>

which should have looked like this:

<font color=red><b>********</b></font>

so the text was meant to be red, it was just a typo that it was white, so no clue there.

seriously im sick of just guessing, i have already tried and documented 5^5 combos (=3125) and I really just done with the entire thing unless we get more solid clues and feedback.

PLEASE can the mods do more than just mod this forum and answer some of the questions posted?

7^5 is assuming that Sam is amiable enough to provide clues in a logical order. :)

if they are in a logical order, I would have assumed that the sig clue was first, since it was released first, but now the 2nd clue release said "[hint #1]" next to it, so im not confident in that assumption anymore.

Can anyone who has been trying by a logical, try and fail elimination based method to beat the chia paste their already tried methods? I didn't keep track of mine and then I got angry and started trying random things so....sorry!

Well before we had any clues, I was trying a brute force approach...

I got up to:

slap, slap, slap, slap, *, *, *, *, * (where * is all possible choices)

with no luck, and then i got too tired to read my spreadsheet anymore and eventually fell asleep at my computer just trying random combos.

In order to say something interesting, the original number of possibilities was 9^5 = 59049

 

With the 2 clues released, however, this has been reduced to 7^5 = 16807

not quite 7^5, we do not know what positions those actions go in.
