Quick question... I did a Fountain Fairy quest last year, and have not yet painted my pet (the colors I want the most aren't available yet for Kougras, grrr). If I get a fountain fairy quest again this year, what happens? I'm sure I don't get two available trips to the fountain, but if when I get the quest would I be able to paint my pet before completing the quest, and then have another chance available when I give her the item? Or when I get the quest regardless of completing or not I lose my chance to paint twice (i.e. have to complete it in order to paint again)? Hope that makes sense... erm. Sorry if it doesn't ^^ Thanks for any answers!

Also, favorite colors ever: Wraith, Eventide, Water. WHY are all the newest ones the most awesome? I wish they would add new colors to more pets when they become available T_T

Well, that is an [removed] thing for them to do. So I can play habitarium on my omgjapanese account normally, but not have it for daily dare and instead have to play a much harder game? Jerks. Good thing I like Abigail's prize better than AAA's anyway!

Well, the north is really bad right now, as I'm sure most people have seen on TV. I live a couple prefectures down, and we are getting aftershocks still and power outages. They are warning that another big 7 could hit within the next week and to be careful. Everyone is stocking up so there are long lines for gas, and some isles at the supermarket are completely empty, but we weren't hit by the tsunami, and overall the damage in my area is minimal thank goodness!

I'm seeing itchy invasion instead of habitarium, even though my language is set to English. Could this be because I live in Japan?

I wonder... would someone in the US be so kind as to check to see if by logging into my account, the game shows habitarium for you? I'm past level 5 for AAA already so...

I'm so confused about the order of how this works... ugh, this is too confusing for me!

So you click on "team challenge" then it has you pick AAA or Abigail. Then the next screen says step one, send score and step two choose your neofriend. So I sent my score first like it said, then when I tried to neomail my neofriend, who I know has accepted the team challenge, I get the message that my neofriend "has already completed the challenge or aren't participating in the team challenge competition" and therefore can't receive the invite. They get the same message for me.

Anyone know what is going on? I wish neopets was clearer about this!

Is the game still giving out the wearables like TDN's guide says? Because I didn't get them, and I've never played the game before so I should've... right? Or am I reading the guide wrong? o_O

I completed 22 in all; not spectacular compared to many, but I got the silver trophy and all the items I wanted, so I'm quite happy with the result! Sure I could have worked harder and completed them all, but it would have been frusterating. This way, I had fun challenging myself without being too stressed out about it ;p

Hi, looking for a group... I've been trying to contain for random groups for hours and it is just not happening! I can also stabilize and suppress just fine for anyone who needs it as well. Haven't tried guiding yet, though... wanted to get containing out of the way first!

Yup, I got the Medium Rare Achievement using the MechaBerry Bomb too, so it isn't necessarily just the Trumpet of Blasting! Maybe anything 45+?

For the goo achievement, everyone is different, but each tentacle action corresponds to a body part. Once you find which action corresponds to which body part, this will stay the same not only for each pet during one rescue, but also every set of rescues you do? So as soon as you find your combination, you can play as many times as necessary, and it will always be the same?

.... right. Hope that makes sense. I'm on my second try, so hopefully I can figure out the combo soon!

Edit: And, if I had waited, I would have answered my own question! Figured out the order on the second try, it still worked fine on the third, and got the achievement! Here is my set:

waver strangely: left arm

ripple oddly: right arm

vibrate gently: right leg

pluse threateningly: left leg

undulate slowly: left arm

@rhi: Train your STR to 35 and then your HP as high as possible. (And Def to 35 aswell, if doable) And yes, Endurance is HP.

Like cheer_poms_life, I could use some stats advice. My level is decent but my HP amount sucks, and the Training Guide is a little confusing on how to go about raising it. Actually it is a lot confusing; I am kinda clueless as to what exactly you are supposed to train when. And at the training school/acadamy, is HP considered "endurance"? Or does it just get randomly raised?

My pet's stats:

level: 30

health: 19 (D:)

strength: 33

defense: 29

aw man, didn't get the rose book! I got the site theme and avatar, and the first two items pictured in my inventory. i didn't finish all the games, have about 7 items in my quest log. i suck at games xD;

@sarah plays, is that windows or ie only? it doesn't seem to work on my mac with either firefox or safari... too bad, I'm tired of refreshing -_-

@looneybin21, can you clarify your strategy for the second part a bit? I can figure out which colors I need, but not how to figure out the pattern. With only 4 colors it was okay to try a bunch until you hit on the right one, but with 5 I don't have enough chances to figure it out. I'm really terrible at this kind of game -_-; Any other suggestions/help is appreciated!

Actually, you get to keep all paint brush clothes. They're sort of like a bonus for purchasing such an expensive paint brush. You can still wear these, or mix and match like many people do.

And that as well is good to know! Thank goodness the advent calendar happened to give out Christmas two years in a row... I was a bit miffed at first it happened to be the paintbrush I already had, but since I kept them now I can repaint if the glowing gets on my nerves! Thanks for all your help and info!

Yes, it does happen sometimes... It's random though, so somebody could feed Glowing Jelly exclusively to their pet and never get them change to Glowing Color.

 

Yes it is permanent... until you repaint your pet of course!

Alrighty, thanks for the info! Weird that I still have the Christmas Kougra stuff in my inventory when he's no longer Christmas, but nifty! May repaint though... not a huge fan of glowing ^^;

I searched the forums and net to see if this question has a definite answer and didn't find one, so hoping you guys can help...

My Kougra got an expensive disease, and in an attempt to heal it quicker than the springs can, tried a trick from another website that suggested feeding it glowing or poisonous jelly to try and change the disease to one easier to heal.

Well, the springs came through for me... after I changed my cute Christmas Kougra to a Glowing one! I had no idea the glowing jellies could do that... pretty sure I only fed it two whole ones over the course of two days.

Anyone else changed their pets colors using jelly? Is it permanent? Because I still have the Christmas accessories in my closet is why I ask...
