antiaircraft Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Microsoft has recently released the public beta of Internet Explorer 8 (at least they took the cue and aren't trying to keep IE7 working for five years straight). I've found it to be somewhat unstable at this stage, and nothing there is really superior to the Firefox 3 beta I'm using, but it's early days yet. Who knows? Maybe Microsoft will actually make a flexible browser for once. You can download the IE8 beta here. Quote
Dillon Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Err No thank you. It has IE7 with more bugs written all over it! Quote
antiaircraft Posted March 6, 2008 Author Posted March 6, 2008 Agreed. But you have to remember that it's a development build. I'm sticking with Firefox though - even Firefox alphas are more stable than this. Quote
DOOM Bringer Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 I really should try the beta before I can say that Firefox is better, but from past experience I can immediately assume it will be inferior to FF like it usually is. Also I'm too lazy to download it and then use it :P Quote
antiaircraft Posted March 6, 2008 Author Posted March 6, 2008 I usually find it fun messing around with betas. But this is just painful... Quote
