Ellie_Penguin
Yesterday when I logged on Windows Live, I got a warning from msn saying there's a new version. I thought, well I'm just gonna install it and get on with it as always. But, when I tried to re-install it said I needed some version of Microsoft Agent. Now, I know they've been having issues with the server so I'm curious as to why I would get such an error, and whether you guys have gotten it lately. I just check the box that says to remind me in 7 days, but I can only do that for long and it'll get to the point where I won't be able to sign in without re-installing. Any ideas or reasons? EDIT: My BF told me his friend has a new Windows Live Messenger version 8 and it's more advanced so maybe that's why I'm getting that error. If you guys downloaded the latest version, let me know whether or not it asked you to install Microsoft Agent or whether it's just a glitch and I should just uninstall my current messenger and download a brand new one off the msn website XD. antiaircraft
Hmm... I don't remember ever being asked to update Microsoft Agent. Then again, I've been out of touch with Live Messenger updates for a while. It's probably best to re-download version you want, and if it asks you to update Microsoft Agent again, then you probably need to.
