antiaircraft
Microsoft recently announced to open-source developers that it would start to open up more, becoming less secretive about the various aspects of its systems, and allowing people to create their own systems that could integrate more closely with Microsoft's. http://www.news.com/8301-10784_3-9876078-7.html Do you think they are really opening up or just trying to weasel out some support? The Big Cheese
They are probably just doing it because of a recent lawsuit that they lost in the UK, about application developers not being able to make the best products because they dont know the inner workings of Windows and how their coding will interact. antiaircraft
Yeah I heard about that... but still, if Microsoft does actually go through with this, it will be a really good thing for open-source programmers (and Microsoft for that matter).
