Weird that they are released randomly, i have like 3 of em ahahaha. I got them when it wasn't even tonu day, they just kept making more.

My account and many of my side accounts have all limited edition pets because they release them a lot at random. I really wanted a tonu, so every once in a while when I got on my account, I would see if I could create one. Eventually I got lucky enough and I made one on my main account and then I made several on my side accounts. Although he later became my lab pet, so now he's a usul, but you get my point :P

 

There always hope to get a limited edition pet, because I've also created cybunnies, jetsams, poogles, and draiks. I've never seen Kois or chombies available though, and then of course they never release krawks. But either way there is always a chance as long as you keep checking :)

I couldn't help but notice you mentioned that you had created a draik. Do you mean with a Draik Egg? Because I thought that was the only way (or with a potion or the lab ray of course). I don't think/didn't know you can/could create one from the create-a-pet page.
