smumpkins
Okay, I've been working on my personal site for the past week or so, and I would like to insert a different cursor for it. Only problem I come across is that on my size I have a vertical scrolling marquee, and when the cursor goes over it, it returns to my computer's default cursor. Does anyone know how to remedy this? o_O EDIT: We got it fixed in IE, but it's still goofing up in FF. In FF, the new cursor shows up on the text, picture and along the top where a header would be. But to the left of the image, to the right of the text and between the image and the text... it reverts back to my computer's default cursor. >_<;;
antiaircraft
I did take a shot at coding something like this before, but I'm not really sure I can help (since I had trouble when I tried as well). What code are you using to make the different cursor show up?
smumpkins
Well, I'll just send you the link to the site since it's hosted on geocities, leaving it easy to check its source. You can find it here.
antiaircraft
Ah - I can see a bit of a theme forming on that site. And I can see where the music is going. ;) Unfortunately I can't see anything wrong with the coding for the cursor - then again I have very little knowledge of CSS. The only thing I could suggest is changing the first part of the stylesheet so that '.smile' isn't on the same line as the following code for the cursor, although I very much doubt that will make a difference. Zac
Good luck solving it! Unfortunately, I don't have FireFox so I can't help much =/
antiaircraft
Well I do remember the last time I placed a cursor on a site, all I did was place one script to load along with the rest of the page (I didn't use a stylesheet). I forgot everything else about it though... :(
