some_person Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 When is the best time to go to the golden dubloon? Whenever I go there it's always full.
Hubert Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 Try at midnight. I have never got that message, and i'm there around 1:30 am.
dahlurd Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 probably random. there are always a lot of people online because midnight is not midnight all over the globe
Hubert Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Nope, ( that's why I'm usually online 1.Am NST) but it might be easier some time of the day.
some_person Posted January 3, 2008 Author Posted January 3, 2008 One more thing, do you really need to order from every menu to have a chance of taking home something from there?
antiaircraft Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I thought you only took something home from the Golden Dubloon if your pet couldn't finish everything...
Strategos Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 One more thing, do you really need to order from every menu to have a chance of taking home something from there? Yes, to get something, you MUST order from every menu. But the cheapest combination is only 8 dubloons, so it's not too expensive.
Hubert Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 But you'll get bigger chance if you order expencive food? Edit: It's only 130 persons on TGD, hurry up and se if you can get a place!
Guest HBK Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 <br />Yes, to get something, you MUST order from every menu. If you were lucky enough to get one, exchange it and sell for much more than a single golden dubloon. Or just use them for the Golden Dubloon.
some_person Posted January 5, 2008 Author Posted January 5, 2008 But you'll get bigger chance if you order expencive food? I don't think so. I think the chance of taking home something is the same for all the food.
Guest HBK Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I don't think so. I think the chance of taking home something is the same for all the food. Nope, the chance of taking home something is the same regarding cost, but not quantity. If you buy a lot of stuff, the bigger the chance to take something home. :)
antiaircraft Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Am I missing something here? I thought the chances of taking something home depended on how much of the food your pet could eat (in which case it would also vary according to how full your pet is).

I thought the chances of taking something home depended on how much of the food your pet could eat (in which case it would also vary according to how full your pet is). That is also correct, but the more you buy, the more your chances of taking something home (just like the Kelp restaurant, actually). Naturally, it is advised to enter with a bloated or nearly full pet.
