*princess*
:crying: Last Saturday night, my brother walked in the front door holding an adorable grey kitten. He had found it abandoned at the side of the woods, curled in a ball and very dirty. He took it to his friend's house to bathe, dry, and brush it. We were so happy to bring the baby kitten into our family; nobody expected what would happen next. The next night, it was raining hard. When my same brother came soaking wet into the living room, he told my parents to follow him outside. By the look on his face, we knew it couldn't be good. I tip-toed out the door with them, even though I wasn't supposed to. We followed Tyler to the side of the road, where the lifeless body of our most favorite cat lay sprawled out and bloody. I couldn't even look at the terrible sight. Although I was happy that we had Smoky, the little kitten, I still miss Nala. :crying: A little more about Nala: Nala was my brother's cat. Even though she drooled a lot while she slept, he let her sleep in his bed right next to him. He even taught her to get under the blanket and lay her head on the pillow! Nala was the best cat ever, and our whole family misses her. (Except for my little sisters, who we haven't told yet) Guess what?? Yesterday evening, my dad had gone to Wal*Mart. When he came home he gave Tyler a brand-new kitten that looks just like Nala!
Juno
I'm so sorry about the cat! Losing a pet is always hard! I'm a cat lover myself, so I totally understand! I hope the new kittens help your family heal!
