how do I get a lutari?

If you don't want to do the phone thing, it's possible to get a Lutari from the Lab Ray -- that's how I got mine. Unfortunately the map's really expensive right now (though at least it doesn't cost real money!), and even if you do get access the ray is totally unpredictable. You might get a Lutari in a few zaps, but more likely it'll take months...or it might never happen. But if you're willing to take a risk, spend the NP, and be verrry patient, I recommend giving it a try; I had a lot of fun with it. Hopefully you'll get lucky; if nothing else you usually come out ahead in the long run with the stats changes, and the occasional color or species change is always entertaining. You can only get a Lutari through the Lab Ray or Mobile Phone.

There are THREE ways to obtain a Lutari at the present.

 

1. Pay for that Lutari Island feature with a compatible cell phone that allows it.

 

2. Use the Lab Ray. (You can basically recieve any pet that exists, so you may be getting a ton of combinations.)

 

3. Try your luck on Lutari Day. (On a pet day, TNT releases a certain number of the pet if it is limited edition.)

 

Remember that if the pound ever comes back, you can not recieve a Lutari there. They simply 'run' away somewhere if you abandon one.
