Erm... you could use the links HBK posted.

Ah...always me to the rescue, no?

What you can do is instead of download and installing the Neopets toolbar from a setup.exe (which obviously doesn't work for you, as you must have corrupted some file - see if other downloads work and if the download window appear when downloading other files), you can directly install the toolbar from a .xpi file (those are like executable files, but only Firefox based browsers can install them). This is what I did for Netscape Navigator (awesome browser, although I prefer Firefox), and it worked, so Firefox is no different, as both use the same rendering engine and so on.

Ok, so instructions for this!

1- Download the Neopets Toolbar .xpi file from here! I have uploaded my toolbar's .xpi for you at Sendspace, so download it via that link. ;) Don't worry, it's totally spyware and virus-free.

2- Open the Firefox browser and go to the File menu and click Open file. Browse to where you download the .xpi file and click it. An install window opens in Firefox asking to install it. Click Install. Ok, wait until the process is finished, restart the browser when it asks you to, and voilá. :)

For those people who love Tarla but don't want to miss out on a giveaway, I have the perfect extension for you!

Simply go to this link! It's the home of the unofficial extension that improves some features of the Neopets Toolbar. Regardless to say that you have to have the browser installed and working before installing this extension. :)

That's all. I hope your Firefox - Neopets experience is rejuvenated by my help and these wonderful extensions.

downloaded it and nothing worked TT^TT nooooooooooooooooooooo I hate this argh!

Did you go and open the file with Firefox? You have to get Firefox to install it and then restart the browser.

I'll stick with 2.0.0.11 Final for now, because of the Noepets Toolbar, as I can get all the extensions to work without them being compatible with 3, that's quite easy.

If you can find any way to make the toolbar work in 3, please tell me and I'll upgrade immediately as Beta 2 is a great release (although it's not final yet), and the only thing that is preventing me from doing that is the toolbar compatibility issue.

What version do you have? If you have 2.0.0.11 or superior, you're absolutely fine. If it's around the 2.0.0.x versions, that's okay too. Just don't be using 1.5 or anything obsolete. :P

And the main reason that we can't be PMing you every time Tarla arrives is because she's so fast that by the time the PM is sent and received, it's already too late.

And not to mention that I am not a computer or a server that can stay permanently online to check for Tarla. There are plently of links to Tarla on the Help Neoboards, so if you want the prize, I suggest you keep a page open and keep refreshing the board every 5-10 minutes.

Or just...install the Toolbar. But that doesn't work for you, for some reason...

Well you should be able to update through the built in updater in Firefox. Just click 'Help' at the top of the screen, and then click 'Check for Updates'.

A dialog SHOULD pop up and tell you if any updates are available.
