antiaircraft
Have you checked to make sure that the download hasn't already started in the background? Or maybe you already downloaded it in which case you just need to double click the file. What browser are you using?

Strategos
Minimize everything and look for something on the desktop that says something similar to Neopets Toolbar Installation. It might just say Toolbar or Install. Sometimes things download so quickly that you don't notice anything has happened.
antiaircraft
All right - hit the Ctrl key and J key - the downloads window should pop up. If you downloaded anything or you're downloading something then it should show up there.

antiaircraft
Try clicking on the tools menu and gong to downloads then. Firefox might be set not to display the downloads window when you start a download, so it's actually downloading but it doesn't show anything. antiaircraft
It's already in English. <_< All right, I guess I said it a little fast. :P When you hit the download link, Firefox should start the download and show you a window that shows you how much has been downloaded so far. However, the settings might have been changed so that Firefox just starts the download, without showing the window. So to manually open the window, go to the top of your screen, click on 'Tools' then click on 'Downloads' from the menu that you get.

Strategos
If Firefox is in Chinese, at the top of the window, press the menu* button that begins with what looks like an I. Then press the button where it begins with what looks like a T. Then screenshot whatever pops up, and show us what it looks like. *You know, where file, and edit, etc usually are. Press the 'Ctrl' button on your keyboard and keep holding it down. 3. Press the 'J' button on your keyboard. 4. Let go of both buttons. 5. A window should pop up showing your download. 6. Guest HBK
NO! THat not waht I mean uhh Iafter I press the buttpon nothing happened that it! Ah...always me to the rescue, no? What you can do is instead of download and installing the Neopets toolbar from a setup.exe (which obviously doesn't work for you, as you must have corrupted some file - see if other downloads work and if the download window appear when downloading other files), you can directly install the toolbar from a .xpi file (those are like executable files, but only Firefox based browsers can install them). This is what I did for Netscape Navigator (awesome browser, although I prefer Firefox), and it worked, so Firefox is no different, as both use the same rendering engine and so on. Ok, so instructions for this! 1- Download the Neopets Toolbar .xpi file from here! I have uploaded my toolbar's .xpi for you at Sendspace, so download it via that link. ;) Don't worry, it's totally spyware and virus-free. 2- Open the Firefox browser and go to the File menu and click Open file. Browse to where you download the .xpi file and click it. An install window opens in Firefox asking to install it. Click Install. Ok, wait until the process is finished, restart the browser when it asks you to, and voilá. :) ------------- ------------- For those people who love Tarla but don't want to miss out on a giveaway, I have the perfect extension for you! Simply go to this link! It's the home of the unofficial extension that improves some features of the Neopets Toolbar. Regardless to say that you have to have the browser installed and working before installing this extension. :) That's all. I hope your Firefox - Neopets experience is rejuvenated by my help and these wonderful extensions.
antiaircraft
Aren't extensions just life-savers? *bliss* I hope TNT gets around to updating their toolbar sometime. It's really irritating having to deal with the compatibility thing.

I can't figure out how to use it in Firefox 3 Beta 1 and I'm stuck with Firefox 2.0.0.11. Do you use FF3 too?
