cpvr Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Wanting to turn her blog’s popularity into dollars, Chloe was excited to add Google ads onto her blog, but found out the hard way that this wasn’t possible due to WordPress.com’s restrictive terms of service that forbids the use of AdSense or other third-party ads. Chloe soon moved her entire blog to the domain neopets fanatic.com. Now, I’m pleased to say, Chloe’s site currently ranks #6 for “neopets†(out of 6.2 million results). Her blog’s traffic has grown to produce $20 to $30 per day in AdSense revenue. Best of all, Chloe only spends a few hours a month blogging and maintaining the site. Not a bad ROI! She makes money because she's ranking for "neopetS". http://www.virtualpetsblog.com/2007/11/25/neopets-blog-why/ Quote

Ian Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Haha, too bad Neo will shut her down here soon for 'cheating.' :P Quote
Guest HBK Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Cheating is just the tip of the iceberg here. What she does is currently plagiarism, yes, as she is stealing Neopets artwork WITHOUT crediting the owners of such, which are the TNT artists. This is stealing and an infringement of Neopets copyright, reason why I don't see Neopets Fanatic to hold on a lot, especially with all these illegal website raids, like torrents and etc. Quote
