Anyone interested in being a pet site item artist?

Lodithia is looking for more item artists. You get paid in RBC C:

 

Here's a brief guide on how to draw an item, pet-site style:

 

1. Make a 160x160 canvas in Photoshop, sketch out what you want the item to look like.

2. When done, expand the image 900% (Image Size -> Percent -> 900%)

3. Use the 9 pixel line to ink your image on another layout

4. Delete sketch.

5. Flat color in the image.

6. Create a new layer when you have your flat color layer selected, click "use as mask"

7. Apply shading on new layer, grayscale. Set new layer to multiply.

8. Save .psd file.

9. Merge all layers.

10. Reduce to 80x80 size.

 

Makes nice, clean lines. :)

this sounds interesting. I don't have Photoshop though. I do have Fireworks (not that I would know the difference between the two).
