Hello.

I'm curious.

I would like to learn how to use/make/utilize the blog system you guys have on the front page of TDN.

Please & Thank You.

^_^

Oi! I forgot that you TDN doesn't give out help, but because this is a forum, I was wondering if anyone could help me.

Mods, if you can, please change the topic's name.

Its a specific plug in that Ian uses. Ask him if you want to know exactly what it is.

Could you please give me Ian's TDN account name then?

Thank you so very much.

I'll send him a PM.

Send Ian a PM, as was suggested, but we don't have a 'blog system'.

The news on the front page is automatically retrieved from the news posted in the 'Neopets News' area of the TDN forums; whilst the plugin we use to retrieve the news and place it on the front page might be free, the forums software in which we post news on (and in which you're viewing this topic in) costs upwards of US$60.

If you need a blog system, try either CuteNews, Wordpress or Blogger (Google them).

Correct, and sometimes there are PHP errors on the front page - this is not directly linked to the forums themselves (because the plugin does work at that time, it's just hat the requests that it makes to the front page is being denied by a piece of script that has a bug or similar).

But those only happen rarely - thank goodness. ;)
