The infamous Mile-long run

I hate running the mile. It's eight laps around our school track and I can't stand it. I didn't even beat my last score. I really hope that I can at least beat it in the spring.

I'm actually going to do the mile run sometime soon. I'm in the unit that does that stuff right now. For me, we go around a huge field two times.

For us it is 4 times around a track...we have to run it once in the fall, winter, and spring.

 

I got 5:53, I guess cross-country paid off :P

Oh... my gosh. How did you bet 5:53? THe best I've ever gotten was 9:09!

 

AHt grade are youin? CUz I know some high school kids who can get that, but nobody in my grade has ever gotten that.

I done a couple of those in school (few years back :P)

But we did it so everyone ran together, so even if you were slow, there be other slow people too :P, Though i was middish.

 

But I need to start running tracks again, December im doing an 3 Mile run, but wait theres more, In a Santa suit :P

YEah some girls walked the whol thing and got like 17 minutes! Lol.

I am in 8th grade. If you run at least 2 miles everyday for about a month, it pays off ;)

Hmmm... that's weird, Zac. Not even teh fastest runners in my eighth grade class of '08 can get that.

Wow - that's fast. I think the equivalent of that for my school is when people run for two or three times around the school building. But some people cheat by taking a shortcut through the hall.

 

Quite frankly, I'm incapable of running in the first place.

Yeah, like Zac, we only need to run around the track 4 times. My best time was 7:34. Yeah. I know I'm slow, so don't push it. xP

I have aq feeling that your track is normal size. Ours is actually forced to be in a compact space, so we have to twice as many laps seeing how ours is twice as small.
