I recently found the website for this and it looks positively awesome! (here) Unfortunately, the videos only show a few things that it can be used for, anyone know anymore about it? Talk about it here. I wonder what the internet would look like on it...

There was a time magazine article on it. I'll see if I can find it.

 

EDIT: On June 25th of this year, Time Magazine published an article on pages 49-50 on it. At that time, it was named Milan. I didn't watch the video, but it says that you can take your order in restaurantes, a virtual conceirge, and it can even compare two phones placed on the tabletop. It can further be used to take photos out of your camera. Some idea that Time has is perhaps board games and casinos.

Something else I need to add: There won't be a patent infrigment issue with Apple because they work on very different technologies, they just work similarly.

Sounds interesting (now I feel way out of date), but why a table? Personally I'd want to put stuff on my table - heavy stuff.
