Having problems with the stores, i can't find any of the items.

I'm having the same problem. Your neopoints need to be the inflation rate x 100, but I can't find the inflation rate.

The inflation rate it located at the top of every single shop in Neopia.

 

Neopian Inflation is currently at 2.31%

 

Note: That was at the time of this post, the inflation rate changes every 10 minutes or so. ;)

so do only get to see one of the items by having EXACTLY the X 10 amount in your hand? or what?

I'm having the same problem, I was under the impression that the plot was still playable. Does this mean that you cannot continue on unless you already bought the item?

You need to have exactly 100X of the inflation rate in your hand in order to see the item. The inflation rate can be seen in the shop, it is found in the middle of the shop when you get into the shop.

Yes its still playable, and yes you need to click on the selected items shown in the shop in order to continue the plot.
